people would be influenced by surrounding matters or situations. they to some degree control our thought and lead our behaviors. on occasion , the stimuli around us could help us tackle with the issues better while it would also bring some adverse effect in some cases.

nowadays, many students may go into the rapture at the mere mention of computer games, especially playing it with their friends. they believe it is a good way for them to make friends and communicate with others, or even make them more popular among their peers. unfortunately, for most students who waste a large amount of time in entertainment, it is not a pleasant experience when they become seniors and face to find a job. these students did not realize the fact that education is the most important aspect of one's life thus when they entried school, they are convinced by some hearsay that learning how to communicate with others which could benefit them when they have difficulties is the most thing they should do in university in order to enhance their job opportunities and abilities. admittedly, interpersonal relationship is rather an essential part of our development, but if we spend all of our efforts in making friends,
we just converse what is the most necessary thing we ought to do and what is not. besides, some citizens who have already known what is justice, in order to make profits, commit some bad effect disobeying their morality like polluting the water or emitting exhaust into the air. take TOSHIBA company for example, in 2000, the company announced that among notebook computers it produced, one model had serious defect. users in north America could choose either replacement with an upgraded model or full refund while no such offer for Chinese people. perhaps TOSHIBA believe the situation is that china is not as powerful as USA so they do not need to care about Chinese. these discrimination services violate the rule of commerce and eventually cause misunderstanding and unpleasant result: Chinese user were outraged at the company's discrimination and refused to use any of Toshiba’s notebook computer. what the company lost is not the temporary revenue but also the consumer’s confidence, which
contribute to the long-term success of the company.

it is no denying the fact that we have to fit this society, sometimes we have to change ourselves to adjust the environment. people circumfusing us, whom we can not alter, would be more stronger or knowledgeable that we have to adapt in their thought. however, by accepting other's idea, many individuals tended to not make decision by their own belief or internal characteristic. these phenomenon would be counterproductive to whether a person himself or the society as a whole, such as the examples i mentioned above. for people who incline to adopt their own notion and pursue their goals with distinct perspective, they will be more likely to make an accomplishment. Bill Gates, as one of the most influential figures in the computer industry and one of the most wealthy people in the world, dropped out from Harvard two years after he entered it. many people just could not understand why Gates decided to give up such a good opportunity studying in the world NO.1 university. however, as size comes power, Microsoft, which is a computer software company opened by Gates and his high school friends Paul Allen, dominates the PC market with its operating system MS-DOS and Windows.

as for me, when we have to solve specific problems in specific circumstance, we ought to be sensitive of the situation and know what other people think. aside from this, insistence to one's belief and awareness of considering by oneself plays a crucial role in one’s development. we should cling our opinion and do what we think is morally right and with perseverance and effective method, it is reasonable for us to believe that we will succeed in our future career.
