When comes to 21st century, people are busier than ever before. They have to work at least hours every day except Sunday, hence, surly living a life at fast pace. Many of them work hard, in order to produce more jobs, however, not efficient every time. Is it better to work more to achieve certain number of assignment? In my personal perceptive, it isn't. On the contrary, over working may cause mistakes, thus decreasing production.
First and foremost, working fewer can improve quality of job people conduct. When I was at young, I used to painting constantly for long, so as to draw more pictures and to hang on the wall to show off. However, when I finally accomplished the 30 pictures, I found, unfortunately, there are over 20 works are total rubbish- just like some fast cramed junk food. They are neither beautiful nor impressive. From then on, I learnt that it's never the quantity that count, so is working.
Secondly, working fewer may release oneself from unnecessary pressure. As a person hold on hundreds of stuffs, he has inescapable responsibility, thus creating aggra burden. But, having too much works to do not ensure someone would finish the project. It is ones efficiency that is crucial to accomplishing a mission. In contrast, having too much stuffs is likely to be depression, thus one can’t concentrate on his work, needless to say the speed he works. If he has less tasks, he would be happier and, as a result, gaining the power to achieve more.
However, every single thing has too sides, so doing fewer works sometime do have disadvantages. Since one needn’t operate so many practical items, he certainly acquires fewer experiences that might account to declining his skill-level.
From the above discussion, we come to the conclusion that doing fewer work does merits to work. |
