Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? To remain happy and optimistic when you fail is more important than achieving success

It is not exaggerative that we must get prepared to deal with the difficulties and setbacks that may crop up everyday. Even though nobody is inclined to pursue failure, unpredictable situations just burst in our normal daily life. While I agree that achieving success is not the priority with my concern.
Too early success may have negative effect on children. Since children command more for enjoyment and relaxation instead of bearing a heavy load formidably. For instance, I remember from my childhood that we peers are always playing together outside or just wandering around for nothing important. While a girl who is our friend, are always hurrying to go extra curricular such as Olympic Mathematics. Not only parents but also we classmates all regard her as the child prodigy for math competition. Unfortunately, she recalled her own childhood as boring and tiresome time in her life and this notion result in her later failure in some of the subjects because of lacking interest to explore thoroughly through deeper research.
Too easy success can also encumber one’s development in the long run. How can we learn valuable lessons through plain sailing? How can we know our flaws during a seemingly perfect process? Success, an extrinsic value, is not the final good or true happiness all human being pursue eventually. Take Edison for example, he had tried thousands of times before finding the alternative filament. Only if he gave up at any trial, widely spread of light wouldn’t exist during that period. His way to success is rough and laborious, bur for his optimistic posture, that 1% inspiration is no more than uselessness.
Although we may envy the insurance that comes with success, while we all respect the courage in defeat, that is the special heroism of aiming high, doing your best and then, when that proves not enough, moving bravely on. Someone has said “The more he falls, moves faster on”. After experiencing these frustrations, he may change into the right direction and learn lessons from failure, thus heading to success faster than originally supposed.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Teachers should not show their social or political views in the classroom.

It is information exploded society when news is emerging continuously and unpredictably, we keep finding ways in order to relieve our feelings and views. Celebrities’ perspectives are stared by medias, some people find their way by writing blog on Internet, some are incline to publish articles or deliver speech, some teacher, however, choose the way of talking about his/her own views through lectures. This kind of demeanor is quite controversial for the reason that the particular angle he/she approach to the social or political problems may lead the students to explore them deeper, no matter through the negative access or positive ones.
First and foremost, we should take the students’ age range into consideration, that is, the particular stage in one’s life is the key factor we cannot disregard. For example, when children are at elementary school, they are too young to form his/her own perspective about the whole world. Their principles and behavior are simple and susceptible, half the time they might regard their teachers as infallible saints whose words are always legitimate. Consequently, if teachers express their views to these little kids, especially those negative attitudes toward social or political, they may bewilder these naïve children from their approaching to the outside world. In such cases, teachers are culpable in misleading the children.
On the other hand, when students, who have already entered the universities, are judging the teachers’ views in lectures, it would be beneficial for both lecturers and students. As lecturers, they successfully find a way to deliver what he/she wants to express, which can also stimulate he/she to speculate and contemplate or even work out solutions. As students, as they become maturely, values and stereotype have already imbedded in their minds. Thus they would differentiate the views given by teachers before accepting them. Moreover, they could consider the social or political views just as teachers do for they are not easily pliable adults.
All in all, I hold the standpoint that teachers should carefully show their views of social or political according to the extent of students’ maturity.

09.03.29 do you agree or disagree, students will not use printed books anymore.

Given that the new techniques are emerging unpredictably and continuously, as the possibility happens so often in science, some people foresee that students will not use printed books anymore. I will, nevertheless, argue that printed books would exist in the future.

First and foremost, printed books are indispensable for us considering a good condition we desire, especially the eyesight. In general, scarcely are we susceptible to catch nearsightedness as long as we can find a place luminous enough. In addition, we could get fewer chances of having the health problem. For example, many officers nowadays, who commonly suffer a variety of chronic illnesses such as neck ache or related ailment. No wonder more controversial is the question as to whether people or technology is to blame. In part, Some people may assert this situation is due to his/her lack of physical exercise, while an important point overlooked is that the considerably long hours in front of a computer also to a great extent attribute to this phenomenon. If there is a solution, it is printed materials.

For another, an increasingly number of people complains that reading an e-book in front of a computer has depleted their enthusiasm significantly. The texture of the printed book admittedly could not be substituted by any form of material at all.
Furthermore, revocation of printed books might bring out disturbing results. As a case in point, several surveys not just in China but also in other countries have informed educators that the later the generation, the lower the ratio they possess the ability to spell correctly.
Whereas the printed books tend to be comfortable to read, on the other hand, e-books tend to be more popular and widespread. Seldom can we take portably large volumes of printed books without the invention of computer. Namely, printed book do bring us inconvenient in some respects.
Consequently, in the end I would like to conclude by envisioning the future, technically, students will still use certain printed books.

1看完第一段,我不知道观点是什么
2理由不太充分,感觉你要对比写的话,每一部分至少要有2个论点吧?而且每一段论点也不明确。
3最后一段可以改改,例如加一句,considering the age of different group of students, I hold ……这样可以与前文对起来

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Advertising is the most important cause of unhealthy eating habits.

Advertising is a relatively new strategy for promoting the products including equipments or food and so forth. People nowadays have an inclination to attribute their own unhealthy eating habits to the emergence of advertising, while I cannot agree that point of view due to the reasons and evidences have demonstrated below which favoring on my consideration. (不知道这段话是不是模板或者我的阅读不是很好,我觉得有些obscure)
It is people’s own decision toward the consumption that in effect counts rather than the occurrence of the advertisement itself. (The type of eating habits is based on people themselves instead of advertisement.)—我觉得作者原先的话中文痕迹有点重
Needless to say(undoubtedly), television industry depends mostly on advertising which could offer it a large amount of money to operate, and presumably, it cannot survive without the support of advertisement. Consequently, we cannot count on possessing a healthy eating habit by eliminating the advertisement in the television, let alone we, as watchers rather than editors, have not got the legitimate right to manage this. However, preferences to advertised products are given to us. In other words, we are the people who eventually in charge of our own life style. For instance, despite all the fast-food industry are propagating the convenience and efficient of buying fried chicken, we can rationally choose other vegetables or beef to satisfy our need of fiber and protein.
Furthermore, it is people’s conception, rather than advertisement that plays a crucial role in deciding eating habits. Scarcely do those people who hold a negative attitude toward advertising have the opportunity to learn nutriology systematically at any stage in their lives. Consequently, few have an idea of how to distinguish healthy habits from unhealthy ones. Although advertisement could be occasionally misleading so as to entice more people to its products, those who are conscious of the unhealthy habits would successfully keep away from them. On the contrary, people without conception of eating habits would select advertising as a bad guy for its negative influences.
In addition, oceans of advertising not only fail to cause the unhealthy habits of people, they make an effort to change their unhealthy habits on the opposite. For instance, an emphasis on nutrition proportion chart printed on the oats would arouse people’s concern about healthy habits. An introduction of a new product would attract people’s attention not only for its delicious tastes but also its abundant nutrition.
From what has been discussed above, we can safely draw a comprehensive thus convincing conclusion that advertising is not the most important cause of unhealthy eating habits due to the preferences of different people, a lack of understanding of nutriology and the fact that advertising can benefit us in some way.

Newspapers and magazines are the best way of learning about a foreign country?
No doubt about that the world doesn't ever stop its process of globalization-- a circumstance under which increasing countries are undergoing. A new trend has brought out by this process and we are curious about what is happening far beyond our homeland. Medium such as newspapers and magazines could bring us some information about a foreign country, however, I insist that this way is not the best way due to the obsolete information, inefficient way and tedious style(排比很有效果). I will give my reasons and evidences favoring on my consideration below.
First and foremost, news are no longer asymmetry(?没懂,不对称吗 ) and hard to approach than before, which means we could in effect have an idea about what is going on in a foreign country through developed technology such as live program in televisions or Internet. Since WiFi has already covered most of the regions, it is rather convenient and accessible to skim the continuously updating information. At the same time, hardly can we update our knowledge about a country by reading newspapers and magazines, for the reason that they need several complex procedures before being published.
Furthermore, with oceans of information flooding in front of people, scarcely could we find the parts that interest us most and most useful to us through reading newspapers or magazines. For instance, my neighbor, who has a habit of reading newspapers once a week, once complained to me that although the newspaper had been republished as daily newspaper, he still read them once a week given the zip-and-go life style and limited time he possess(possesses). Consequently, people has(have,指民族时用单数) developed a(an,就assesses就好) access with higher efficiency and effectiveness, and Internet has been proved a better way considering its functions like key words searching and powerful search engine.
In addition, newspapers or magazines can provide people adequate reading material, but not a perfect way of displaying pictures and photos. In front of a television or computer sit people(个人觉得倒装的没必要), on the contrary, could easily access to the world of both illustration and documents.
From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw a comprehensive thus convincing conclusion that though historical medium such as newspapers and magazines could provide us certain information about a foreign country, the best way of learning about exotic anecdotes would be television and computer if we take update, efficiency and vividness into consideration.
用语很好,连贯性也很好,但是是不是(窘迫了^^)可以多一些例子,这样会比较独特和生动。嘿嘿,水平有限,请多多指教。。
