今天8：30分才到那里，刚好赶上那队的最后一个然后就跟进去了，但是居然在草
坪那里等了一个半钟头，脚很酸，如果不想排队的，就早点去吧，但是早点去可能
太少人，没时间给自己缓冲一下。如果准备的很充分也可以去赶第一个呵呵，不过
我一般建议的都是晚点好点。
看个人，上次我是在小胡子那对前几个。
今天的学生签证很少，只有几个，其他都是上午和探亲旅游的，还有8个作为运动
员的（全过了在2号窗，小glassboy）
今天出来的签证官：1号忧郁王子（没带眼镜）2号小glassboy,  3号美男（SSGG）
小胡子今天没出来

4号圣诞老人，大概50岁多到60之间，戴眼镜的，very nice我们那些被他签的都过
好像

刚进打听立刻去找厕所，因为今天一大早肚子疼，然后排队都在忍。进大厅时只有
3个窗口，出来厕所后看到4号窗好像有所动静，然后对5号窗那个姐姐笑着向她问
好，她看了看我的表好像发现我被拒过，然后过了一会回去不知干什么，当时不知
道，但是后来才发现去叫圣诞老人过来4号窗口，然后她就叫我呆在一边等叫号过
去4号窗口签。这时我发现圣诞老人真的很 nice, 然后旁边还站着一个好像新来的
，好像来学习圣诞老人的面试技巧。所以说5号那个jj真的有时候就在决定你的运
气. (上次我姐姐就是被她问你看看哪一队的人比较少呵呵，结果我姐姐跟她说3号
SSGG那队人少，结果那天她发挥还好，过了)。
我前面有个学生去那边短期培训，英语狂烂，VO跟他讲一点，然后查他的资料，而
且查了很久，一直都没跟他聊，估计那学生口语太烂了最后也给他过了。
之前那边在查那个学生的资料时VO就在看我的资料，然后跟好像又在旁边教那个年
轻的些东西）
到了我了：
Me: Morning，nice to meet you! (当时很高兴，当然脸带笑容啦) 这次把所有的
东西全部拿出来，之前排队已经想好什么时候递材料这些细节，排好顺序了，准备
和他大战一场
VO: How are you? （他也笑着）
Me: Fine, thank you! (我没有回问他)
VO：看了我的资料，so in what fields are you going to study for
mathematics?
Me： I will study probability and statistics at the Department of
Mathematics at Syracuse University. (这次就不说statistics,上次被小胡子拒
就单说statistics, 概率跟数学应该关系超大吧) I have the offer letter
and admission letter. Would you like to look at them?
      (把材料递进去给他)
VO：I will check you I20, wait a minute. (把我的I20拿去那边了)   
     （个人觉得如果他做到查I20里的东西就有很大可能过了）等了一会回来了。

ME：Would you like to look at my interested professor's homepage, I have
print them. (看到他来者不拒，我又拿给他看了)
VO：翻了翻导师主页就送回给我，然后又翻了我的offer letter和admission
letter, 和那边graduate director 的emails. 看后又还给我，然后开始在键盘敲
东西，然后又在DS表圈东西，
Me: 站着无聊，本来想跟他聊，但是看到他又在敲键盘就没说了。
VO：过了几分钟，就开始把我的护照，DS表和I20表分开，然后只把I20表还给我，
其他都受走了，然后顺手认出篮卡给我。Come back tomorrow afternoon to
get your visa.
Me: 表情当时好像是傻了，接着就忙说thank you!! 但是我没开始发挥啊，老大，
Would you like to see my other materials?
VO: 摆手对我笑。
Me: 再次道谢，走人了。（上次没有问小胡子据签理由，被拒的飞友记得问）
整个面签过程没有超过10分钟
今天碰到圣诞老人，上次碰到小胡子，经过截然不同，结果截然不同。总之我的那
些练习都是白练，上次由于自己傻的不会发挥，回国计划说的不好给小胡子拒了，
这次大水车不给我机会说回国计划，回国理由，什么专业问题，为什么选这个学校
都没问。还是觉得运气很重要。


因为签经没有什么，我就把我的回国理由问题答案献给大家，只供参考
个人建议：
1问到：去读什么，那个学校的啊，这些尽量递offer letter and admission
letter,和导师主页。
2问到：自己的背景问题，可以递论文，resume, transcripts, ps
3问到：回国计划回国理由等，递SL,和其他促使自己回来的证据。



Give me three reasons that you will come back.
1. It will be much easier for me to find an academic position in China
than in USA.  I prefer to join the mathematics faculty in Zhongshan
University.  [I have a supporting letter from the Chairman of Statistics
Department in Zhongshan University.  Would you like to have a look at
it?]   
In USA, mathematics and statistics are developed.  So it leaves fewer
places for young people.   Lots of excellent researchers strive for
limited academic positions.  However, with a PhD from Syracuse
University, I am confident I will be competitive for the academic
position in Zhongshan University.  Zhongshan University has some good
policies for those professionals who come back from abroad.

2 It will be easier to achieve my future objective in China than in USA.
  
My future objective is to be a full professor and build up my own
research group.   If I stay in USA, I think it is very difficult to
become a full professor. However, it will be easier in China if I come
back from USA with a PHD.  The applications of statistics are
underdeveloped. China is in great need of statistics professionals.   
The Chairman of Statistics Department told me many companies and even
the government came to our statistics department to look for
professionals to receive their projects.   If I can be a leading
professor and has my own research group, I think I will be competitive
to receive such projects.  [So I am confident that my income will be
very high because the basic salary will be 10 thousand per month and I
am sure I will have bonus, subsidies and generous welfare such as
apartment allocated by government at a low price.]  [In fact three young
professors who once studied in USA have done very well in their
fields in our mathematics college and gain their positions of doctor
advisor this month.  Only leading and excellent professors can be doctor
advisor in China.  [I plan to gain my Ph.D. in Syracuse University in
four-five years and then immediately come back.  I am confident that I
can be an associate professor after one year.  And then I hope I can
become a professor when I am 32 years old.  After four more years I hope
I have the opportunity to apply for a doctor advisor position. ]
I believe I will have high social status and a bright future in China.

So why not come back?

3 My root is in here.  Studying in USA is just a temporary period of
my life.  I would like to contribute what I will learn in USA to my
own country.  I promised my parents I would definitely come back when
I finish my study.  I have my family pictures. Would you like to look at
it? In Canton, I can go back to see my parents if they have health
problems.  I also want to enjoy part of my free time with them.  And I
prefer to form my own family in China.    I have lots of friends here
and I hope we can keep in touch.  
I prefer the life-style in China.  I like Chinese food, Chinese
traditions, and Chinese culture. To live several years without delicious
food in USA is a temporary sacrifice for my future, how can I bear this
sacrificing for my whole life? {^_^}
