标  题: 昨天拿到红条，今天下午去拿签证

昨天网络有问题，一直登陆不了bbs，就只能现在才来说说了。

昨天人很多，由于还在倒时差，我5点就醒了，然后从八点多一直站到差不多11点才进到大
厅。然后interview了两三分钟吧，又要我站在一旁等他们 check sevis，又站了40分钟，
出来时都12点多了。真是累死。

问题不多，基本上是25问里面的，然后结合我的实际情况变化了一下问题而已。下面是in
terview的大概内容，具体我忘了。

M: Good morning, sir! How are you doing?
VO: good, how r u?
M: Pretty good!
VO: So where are you going to study?
M: Columbia University.
VO: What are you going to do at Columbia?
M: I am going to study finance & economics there.
VO: what do yo do now?
M: I just had my convocation at the U of Wstern Ontario, Canada.
VO: Oh, you just graduated from Canada?
M: Yep.
VO: Why don't you want to study in Canada? Why do you want to study at Columbi
a?
M: ***************
VO: (look at the computer) You got rejected once?
M: Yes, I applied for a visitor visa in Toronto in the past March. It was righ
t before the war in Iraq. 当时是想去boston interview, 反正对方包销所有费用，没
想到居然被锯签。
VO: May I see your offer letter?
M: Sure!
VO: who will pay for your tution and expenses? Oh, you got a full financial pa
ckage.
M: Yeah, they will pay everything for me.
VO: What' s you plan after graduation?
M: Blah Blah.
VO; WHy don't you want to stay in the US? (暗示我为什么不留下来在例如象Wall St
reet的地方工作）
M: (大概吹了一下为什么在中国的日子舒服。)
VO: Will you definitely come back to China?
M: Sure!
VO: I will check your info. in SEVIS. Please wait over there and I will call y
our name in about 10 mins.
M: OK. Thank you!

然后就开始傻等，等了差不多40分钟。（又说10mins！）然后被告之电脑出了问题，查不
了SEVIS，先发给我一个红色的卡片，然后第二天下午三点来拿。

我看了一下卡片，写者什么your application has been approved....plz come again a
t 3:00 PM.... 也不知道是不是给我签证。今天下午去看看就知道了。

出来以后，和等了一个上午 的minnie去吃了一个food版推荐的巴西烤肉，感觉一般般。


感想：心态很重要。我之前就对于签证的结果无所谓。个人觉得没有必要对签证官起外号
，不然一见到所谓的杀手就紧张得发抖。Just be yourself! 当然不排除有个别签证官un
friendly or even rude.我在Toronto签了一次visitor visa时就被一个rude的白人锯签。
但是广州的签证官感觉还不错，挺有礼貌的。排我后面的是一个基督教徒，和daughter去
探亲，心态平静无比，也过了。我看到两个女生，一边说一边发抖，估计被锯了。

还有，口语也很重要，有一个口语不好的gg就被锯了。如果口语流利的话，就不会发慌。
