Does an elite university promise a bright future?
That an elite university doesn’t promise a bright future is always the idea I hold in my mind. Even a man admitted to a foremost university like Harvard can turn out wandering in the lowest class of the society, disreputable.
University is a milestone that signifies our progress of education, which never equals to the sign that we have grasped a bright future and that there is no need to worry about the years to come. When in university, we absorb more information and knowledge as our expertise in order to find a job that supports our life.
So, the utilization of further education such as universities is just to attain essential skills to fit ourselves into the society more readily.
Without it, we humans can definitely ensure ourselves a successful life , which of course hinges on the efforts we made for the goals. For example, Ma Yun , the distinguished CEO of alipay, was not a genius in Tsinghua university but a nerd studying English in Hangzhou. Nowadays, his celebrated company proves to be the leading enterprise in China’s IT corporations. In lack of an elite university experience, he still towers among all walks of life inasmuch as his pursuit toward his ideal life has never ceased.
Compared with Ma Yun Ironically, the attention-drawing graduate from University of Peking ended up make a living as a butcher. Why did he live butchering when he should have been nominated manager in a deluxe office, convening?
An elite university never equivalent to a necessity in the long run is obviously negligible. A bright future is secured when the perservance of Ma Yun is the sight of us.
The presence of elite education counts no more.
