The lecture cites researches on the effect of team working to approach a new project. It is suggested that this kind of measure will be detrimental rather than instrumental to both team and its members, which directly refutes the reading passage.

According to the reading, the team can set the stage for each individul’s talents. However, the professor challenges this belief since he argues that it is a commen（common） phenomenon that some of the members get free rides and do not contribute to the project while others are working even harder in order to do an excellent job. Upon task completed, success will be owing to the whole team without mentioning specific names of relatively diligent members.

In addtion, the professor offers another different perspective on work efficiency of teams. The passage states that teams are supposed to response more quickly because a greater mount of resources and labors. On the conrtrary, from the professor’s point of view, teams are working less effectively, wasting time on achieving an agreement among all the members.

The last thing which the lecture casts doubt on the reading is that several influencial persons may play a dominate role in team decisions. Though someone else have figured out the present measure couldn’t lead them to the right way, their words may be ignored by those team authorities. However, if the project finally turns out a failure, the entire group, rather than those who make the false decision, will have to take the blame.

Inorder to be success, it is better to be like others than to be different fromeverybody else.


Generally, there are always heated debatesspringing up at the merely mention of success. Many have recently put forwardthat, in order to succeed, it's better to be like others than to be differentfrom everybody else. For my part, the information I have acknowledged over pastfew years makes me not wholly agree with this statement. Listed below are someconcrete reasons.


The first plain truth I'm presenting hereis on no account can we ignore the importance of creativity. Government needs tocreate job opportunities; company needs to create fantastic products; employerneeds to create fine progress. This is part of the true scene of modern soceitythat creativity is valued as the most powerful force for elevation. To becreative, each individual shuold be encouraged to be different, thinking in adifferent way as well as coming up with different ideas. It is universallybelieved that in the process of success lies a mountain of problems, whichrequire people to be enough creative to figure out perfect solutions. IfBenjamin Franklin was not so creative, there wouldn't have been his success inusage of electricity, letting alone the prosperity of this information age.


What's more, leadership furnishes anothernecessity of becoming different from others. There's no doubt the coachfunctions as the leader in sports - soccer,for example.Jose Mourinho is one ofthe best football coach in this planet, who has called himself "Thespecial one". The football club Chelsea, though consisting a team ofoutstanding players, hasn't won the champion of the Premier League untilMourinho entered the Stanford Bridge. That's becausesince he learned to be a coach in Spainnot Britain,Mourinho has acquired a different style of coaching, which enables him to wellorganize these football players into a much stronger team. As a result hesucceeds while those previous coaches fail at leading this club to summit.


However, it doesn't mean that everything ofsuccessful persons is different when advoationg for being different. The exactmeaning is human being should be differet in minds, which can generate preciousqualities for self-development. But when it comes to morality, it is absolutelynecessary for every person to observe the same principles since the universalvalue of life nature is love, harmony, peace and other similar things. Based from what have been discussed above,we can safely draw a conclusion that it's definitely instrumental for people tobe different when pursuing success since difference always equtes to creativityand leadership. At the same time, we also should cultivate similarity with themajority in morality. Anyone who is blind to this balance will pay for theheavy price that success would never favor him.

Consistent with this situation, a news commentator just slightly exaggerates when he claims “It's not surprising at all if close friends abruptly fall out with each other over an interview opportunity”. According to social experts, people going outside have actually gone into the dilemma where under tremendous stress they have no choice but to fight for limited surviving resources. Seen as "Steam engines" by psychological theories, patience and energy of these citizens are always exhausted by long-time working and firece competition while success and happiness are still smiling on the horizon - visible but unreachable.

On the contrary, things are totally different when it comes to the countryside. Though community there is less developed, residents living in the country need to be self-suffient(sufficient) in most aspects of life, which in turn makes them have less devotion to material things. Without that great pressure of survival, they are ready to enjoy an air of freedom and do something simply for physical and mental pleasure. Consequently, they are certain to accept the sense of joy more often in this relaxing atmosphere.

In addition, communicating furnishes another advantage of people in the country. As mentioned above, people who go outside are exposed to mountains of competitions which has caused them to fear contact others sincerely. That's because due to the large population in cities, any person may turn out to be their potnetial rival in sudden. Only by living alone can they feel a bit of safety. However, country people  have never suffered from this problem. Support comes from the fact in remote areas people tend to live together and share belongings to everyone - not only family members but also neighbors and even strangers. In this lifestyle, they are more willing to communicate with others, exchange ideas and then make friends. Now it is generally believed that friendship is one of the essential factor（s） in happiness and success since it is an emotional access to healthy mental conditions.

To sum up, there is no doubt that people living in villeges are more successful and happier than those who go outside. Happiness and success - so at least it seems to me - have nothing to do with money or status but everything to do with freedom and satisfactory emotion. It is fair that those who are blind to this primary principle would only struggling for dream while countryside residents could live a happy and successful life
