7月三号2000 5号窗口拿到visa
9：20 进使馆， 9：40交表，12：0左右开签。
亲眼所见：11：00 前只1~2 个F1过，11：00以后8号美男开始放水，11：30左右白胡子
大爷出来，连据多人，后来放了一些人。
感觉dtt(sorry),xtt(sorry)手下没有几个F1过。
我是在5号帅哥（有点像哈里森.福特）签，我们队前3~4个都悲剧了(我在后面听，觉得他们

说的不太好)，后来一位jj发挥出色，率先签过，这给我增加了信心。这个VO还是愿意听你说

的，只要准备充分合理，他是会给你签证的。

Me: Nice to meet you, Sir.

VO: ***

Me: I have prepared some materials, will you see the checklist?

VO：wait a minute. (Busy with typing the computer, after a while, turn to me)
    So you are going to Wisconsin University?

Me: yeah.

VO: What will you study there?

Me: Computational mathematics, my future study will be focused on multiscale

research.

VO: what?  (haha, 不懂了吧，等着你来问呢)

Me: Multiscale problems research. You know, most difficult problems in

engineering and sciences involve the interaction of several length and time


scales. While, a simutaneous resolution of all scales is impossible both

computaionally and analytically (interrupted)

VO:Have you applied for any Chinese universities?
Me:No.
VO:Why?
Me:You know in multiscale research, USA is better at multiscale modelling,

simulation and computation. While China is good at multiscale analysis. I want to
learn the methods in USA and then come back to combine the two ways of thinking.
I can apply it to solve large amount of practical problems of engineering in

China. (interrupted)
(This VO is really nice, I have said all I have prepared about this question.)

VO: Why Wisconsin?
ME: (confidently) Wisconsin is one of the three main centers for multiscale

research.(exaggerate a little) And one of my professors in PKU, Professor Ying,

is a returned visiting professor at Wisconsin. He recommended this school to me.

VO: what will do after graduation?
ME: I will come back, to promote China's research on multiscale modelling,

simulation and computation. I will use what I learn in Wisconsin
to solve the large amount of multiscale problems coming from constructions of

irrigation works, like big dams, long-term forecast, and oil detection in west

China. (即兴发挥了一句：) you know, China is developing its west, just like

America did a century ago.　(VO 点头，令我信心大增)　The geographical

conformation in west China is very complex (interrupted)

VO:Wherere you going to do your work?
Me: I have many choices. The first choice is my present group. I can also go to
PKU, they have just builded a group in this area. My advisor is the first

professor to get into multiscale research in China.　Last year a sino-US


conference on multiscale analysis was held in China.
(我还有关于去中国气象局，飞箭有限元软件公司的plan,  没有用到，但它们的材料都准备

了，心里不怕他问)

VO: your G & T scores.
Me: (quickly and easily found them in my well-arranged file-case) Here you are.

粉条飞出，
VO: blablabla.
Me: (don't hear even a word because I was very surprised and happy) Thank you,
Have a nice day, good luck (后来MM说我像范进中举，语无伦次)

VO: do you understand? understand?
Me: yeah, bye
(quickly went to window 10)

后来看了其他人的文章，才知道他说的是什么
I hope you will come back after graduation. That will make 后来人 get their visas

more easily.
(He is really a nice man. If I had heard what he said, I would have looked into

his eyes and said I promise I will come back.)
