Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Visiting museums is the best way to learn a country.(281)

There is no doubt that visiting museums is a fairly good way to understand a country by appreciating its artistic and historical culture. When faced with numerical objects which are full of beauty, subtlety and profundity, we would certainly lose ourselves and learn the culture and civilization of a country at the same time. In addition, some of the artistic achievements have expressed profound truth which could breathe into our soul the warmth of life.

However, there are some other ways to learn a country. Firstly, studying, or having a higher education in this country is an excellent way to get familiar with the people, places and culture there. When learning in a country, you can see something deep inside. For example, while just having a glimpse at the museums, you can only see visual civilization that is static and hackneyed expression whose expressiveness has been worn away by centuries of overuse. On the contrary, when studying in a university, you could learn a country from multi-dimensional aspects.

Moreover, reading local newspapers and magazines helps us understand the ongoing facts in that country, which is more practical and useful compared to visiting the museums. For instance, one could hardly know the political events and other important news in the museums. But when you open a local newspaper, you can get an overview of the world out there. Furthermore, reading newspapers also broadens our horizon.

To sum up, while I have to admit that visiting museums is a good way to learn a country, there are some other ways to understand it. When trying to learn a country, we can carry out several approaches and thus understand it in a better way.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a museum possesses quantities of culture relies, which are one of the major consist of the civilization. Some people, then, conceive that visiting museums is the best way to obtain deep understanding of a certain country. This, however, as far as I’m concerned, is like trying to know a person by his or her photographs. The view of exterior apperence can under no circumstance gives you the whole picture and spirit of this person . Therefore, I cannot disagree more, Only when exploring all aspects of the countrysuch as people, literature and festival, you can able to acknowledge the core spirit of it .

Getting contact with local people, from my perspective, is the way of most efficiency. They are immerged to their culture in every aspect of their lives. Thus, they can be the shortcut leading to the crucial culture. With communication technology has come to prevade our lives, it is not difficult to get into touch with them. Taking me as an illustration, I once incline to keep a long-term relationship with a native american. Though failed, I acquired a great deal of information about their campus lives and social activities.

Also, I have a profound conviction that literature is the masterwork of culture in that writers are the most essential carriers of their own culture. Books in hands , a variety of habit and custom can be well-observed . Pride and prejudice, a representive of Jane Austin, has a significant impact on my view to the 18th century England. The novel contains description of the social activities, psychological analysis and the atstus of women, which compeletely challenged my formal suppose to the culture in era of hers.

Last but not least, I strongly deem that festival plays an indispensable role in culture. Since it is orgin from the culture, it can be regarded as an exaggerating of cultural behaviour. Superstitious as it may be, festival is a fundamental connection between people and their culture. Scientific researches have demonstrated that people those who have more understanding of festival are more likely to adapt to the cultural background easily and comprehensively.

No accurate and deep understanding will you gain if you just visit the museum of this country.Civilization, after all, lies not only in dead cultural relics but also in people’s state of mind. In brief, a complete structure of the culture can be built, only if you intend to obtain your comprehension from every respect of culture including people literature and festival.

贴一篇我觉得还挺好的范文与LZ共勉哈~~加油~

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Visiting museums is the best way to learn a country.(281)

There is no doubt that visiting museums is a fairly good way to understand a country by appreciating its artistic and historical culture. When faced with numerical objects which are full of beauty, subtlety and profundity, we would certainly lose ourselves and learn the culture and civilization of a country at the same time. In addition, some of the artistic achievements have expressed profound truth which could breathe into our soul the warmth of life.(可以在本段末尾加上下段首句,然后点出接下来将要从海外求学、阅读报纸等方面来论述除了参观博物馆外可以了解一个国家的方式)

Furthermore, reading newspapers also broadens our horizon.(这一句可以删掉不要,或者继续论述读报纸可以开拓我们的视野,增强对于一个国家更广泛的了解)

(建议在此再举出一个了解其他国家的办法,例如收看他国的电视节目,或者到他国去旅游之类的,以充实文章的内容)

To sum up, while I have to admit that visiting museums is a good way to learn a country, there are some other ways to understand it. When trying to learn a country, we can carry out several approaches and thus understand it in a better way.
