From my own perspective, after mydeliberation, I will side with the statement that one will be more exhilaratedwhen they succeed at a challenging things than an easier one. The reasons formy preference involve three factors. First of all, it will strongly fulfill one’ssense of satisfactory. Additionally, the great achievement of a challengingthing will acquire best compliments which always make people happy. The icingon the cake is that bigger achievement stimulates the growth of confidencewhich bring us into happiness.
The main reason for my propensity for thisstatement is that according to the Need-hierarchy theory, the satisfactory of senseof achievement is proportional to the level of toughness. A particular exampleof this is that I was both qualified to the positions of executive person andgroup member of two volunteer activities. As an organizer, I was burden with somuch responsibility and expectation. When I succeeded in handling an emergency situation,I felt I was standing on the top of a mountain, overseeing the progress flowingfluently because of me, I felt I was important, whereas I didn’t get anyspecial inspiration on the position of group member. I just did the workassigned to me. Therefore, sense of satisfactory and achievement was proved tobe defensible by all the fact.
A more essential reason why I advocate mypoint of view is that when a huge work is done, you can receive bettercompliments. It a common knowledge that compliment makes people happy. Thesaying goes that flattering goes to everywhere. For the case in this writing, the sentiment I obtained as an executive person was amazing. The admiring glances, though a little pompous, made my heart full.
Similarly, two factors mentioned above arealso valid when we consider that big achievement help construct one’sconfidence which makes people look glory and pleasing. It is obvious that smalljobs are far from enough for us to get growth in confidence.
In nutshell, via three points mentionedabove we could draw a safe conclusion that a challenging job does cheer peopleup more than an easy one.

The reading passageexplores the issue of preventing the cane toad fromspreading. The professor’s lecture deals with the sameobjects. However, she thinks that all three ways the reading suggestsare likely to fail in the reality. And in the lecture, she uses specific points to support her idea.
Firstly, even though thereading passage suggests that building a national fencecould lead to the end of cane toad disaster. Theprofessor argues in the lecture that this way won’t be effective becauseyoung toads and eggs exist actually in the streams. The national fence isn’table to intercept the waterways so that the toads could easily pass through thefence by flowing in the river. Obviously, the professor’sargument disproves its counterpart in the reading.
Moreover, despite the statement in thereading that a volunteer team built by young people could catch the cane toadsin order to eliminate the amount of cane toads, the professor holds the ideathat the volunteer team with little biology knowledge background will ruin theecology balance by mistaking the regular toads with the cane ones. Then shesupports this point with the fact that normal people without special training arehard to tell difference between native and cane toads. Once the native toadswas killed on large amount, it will turn out to be another nature disaster.
Finally, the professor asserts that theidea of virus will affect not only Australia but also other continents, whereasthe author of the reading claims that the virus could have effect only on canetoads in Australia. In other words, the reading doesn’t consider that danger ofthis virus will spread to other continent to form a larger destruction. Theprofessor proves that this clam is indefensible by pointing out that the virusthough put into practice in Australia, there is a chance that it will bebrought into America where the cane toads are main animals.
In conclusion, the contents in the readingpassage are completely refuted by the lecture and the lecture advocates totallydifferent ideas on the topic made in the reading passage.
