THU GRADUATE BIOPHYSICS-->WISC-Madison
今天的签证官是5DTT，6平头，7XTT，8美男，9可能副领事（穿西装），后来走时看到新开
3号窗口好象是个头发也秃的大爷(有胡子)。
今天我10点进入签证等候区，到快一点拿到Visa出来，觉得总体形势是：11点以前在10号
窗口好象没有什么F1模样的，DTT还是据人无数，美男和副领事签得很慢，在平头和XTT的
窗口也不时传出Just a minute的声音或无奈地离去。11：30以后，我们这对金黄色牌被带
到XTT处，其间不时看到平头和美男窗口有黄条飞出，形势还可以，当然也亲眼见到平头据
了2个F1的MM。我们这队我前面一个学艺术管理（TA）的和学经济（自费）的，被XTT据，
在此前还有两个F1模样的GG好象也没过，在我后面过了一个去VT的女孩和一个H1的GG。
我的签证过程是：

me:Yes, I will get my master's degree next week.
vo:What are you going to do in USA?
me:I will pursue my Ph.D in Biophysics at Wisc-Madison.
vo:What is biophysics?
me:Biophysics is to use the physical method to solve the biological problem. A
s for my current research, we study the protein structure to eluciadate deseas
e ocurrence and drug interaction with proteins.
vo:Biophysics.(see the list for sensitive subject)
vo:How long will you study ....(didn't here it clearly)?
me:You mean my study at Madison?
vo:Yes.(nod his head)
me:The longest time to pursue a Ph.D at Madison is 6 years(in I20).But with my
Master's research experience, I believe I can finish it one or two years earl
ier.
vo:Did you get your BS at Tsinghua Univ.?
me:No,I get my BS at Sichuan Univ.?
vo:Where is this Univ.?
me:It's in Sichuan Province.
vo:Where is this Univ.?(maybe he is not clear about Sichuan)
me:(thinking that there is an American consulate in chengdu)It's in Sichuan Pr
ovince,Chengdu City.
vo:(exciting)Oh,chengdu,a beautiful city. Oh, your hometown is in Chengdu.(may
be he has a good impression for chengdu and chengdu people,I believe he has we
nt there.)
me:Yes.
vo:What's your master degree major?
me:Biophysics.(Here he want to know if I changed my major)
vo:Why do you want to study at Madison?
me:You know,even in Tsinghua Univ.,the best research group in this area, for m
e do the desease mechanism study and drug design, we only use the traditional
static method, while the most advanced dynamic way I will learn at Madison can
give more accurate result on what's wrong when the desease happening and how
to design more rational drug.So,...(breaked)
vo:What's your concentration in your Ph.D at Madison?
me:My research will focus on protein structure and dynamics, especially using
the most advanced dynamic way to elucidate the desease happening and drug inte
raction.(maybe he want to convince again if my research is sensitive)
vo:What's your plan?
me:I will come back to my current research group in Tsinghua to continue my fa
vorate research on desease mechanism and drug design.(break)
vo:Do you have support letter?(may be he likes and believes this kind of mater
ial,I was very happy to show this)
me:Yes.Here is the support letter from my current advisor,the director of our
Institute, and some introduction about my current group concentration, it real
ly matches my study in the US.After I mastered the expertise of most advanced
methods from madison,I can significantly enhance their research level in this
area. (After he finished his quick look on these material) Besides, I also bri
ng some material to show you that the dynamics way I will learn at Madison is
urgent in need for future drug design, do you want to have a quick look?
vo:no need.(from his face, I know he is satisfied with this)
vo:Why not stay at USA to do this kind of research?
me:Because in China, I will have priority in research method, which can garant
ee me a good research position in Tsinghua Univ. to do my beloved research.You
know,the dynamics way I will learn in Madison is really significant to improv
e our current research.(break)
vo:Ok,please go to window ten (and give me the yellow paper, I was too happy t
o hear more,since before this, I feel my major will be checked) and wait ten m
inutes for your visa.balabala.....
