Teacher should or not talking their social political views to student in the class.

Students go to school for taking in more knowledge as well as what kind of people they should be. However, if teachers should teach everything they are eager to instruct to students, such as sensitive topics, has already caused people’s attention. People held different opinions due to different background. From my perspective, teachers are not supposed to talk their social political views to students in class since and there are some reasons for my viewpoints.

When teachers are talking about certain tender subjects, they are inclined to see those subjects through colored lenses. In this case, students might be asked false or extreme views about social or political issues, especially on the condition that students are not mature enough to tell right from wrong. How could we, in this case, ignore the harmful impact on students? A real instance happened in a small town of the United States. A teacher, whose name is Johg Pong, was willing to being a politician in the past, but finally he was failed for his ultra words and deeds. Then, he became a teacher in an unknown high school for earning a living. However, he did not purely teach textbook knowledge. Instead of it, he spread reactionary thought to students frequently in that he was not resign to end up his political life. At last, parents came to school to complain about him since those students he thought were infected to possess extreme thought. From it, we can know, certain ill-intended teachers would like to regard school as a place to show themselves in an unfriendly way which is detrimental to students.

Parents are hoping for good education to make their children be better which is developing good character, being happy and improving communicative competence. However, if teachers threw plentiful time to talk about social and political views, the behavior can totally against parents’ original intention. How terrible it is? Besides, students have no enough time to absorb knowledge, raise questions and finally, it must influence their performance in academic examination, let alone they can store enough knowledge for future career and making through preparations for researching deeper things.

Admittedly, teachers are, after all, adults whose thought is much mature than students. However, in case of listening to teachers blindly, parents should guide their children to consider things from a more accurate and may be different perspective and leave them enough space for forming their own view.

To wind up, since students are relatively reaching less people than adults do, they lack the skill of distinguishing things. In this way, teachers should not talk their social and political views to students in the class. Incidentally, we can not totally deny the behavior on the grounds that if good parenting represents to students, it will be good for them to learn to observe things from different perspectives.

The lecture completely denies the idea that companies should give the chance to let employees to choose work a four-day workweek or five days a week made in the reading. The speaker uses three reasons to fight against it.

First, the reading passage contends that giving workers the option will make them feel relaxed, and because of it, they will make fewer errors. But, the lecture argues that companies will spend much more money in hiring more people and in training new workers. Besides, the health benefits will be the same whether workers work four days or five days. Additionally, more workers also mean more space and computers. Those additional fees will quickly cut into companies’ profits.

Second, the professor in the reading passage says that even though given the choice, companies would prefer to ask works to work whole day. To make things worse, if companies do not expect four-day workers any more, they tend to hire five-day workers. Then, the additional employee opportunities will not come to people any more. By contrast, according to the reading passage, hiring more people would ensure work to be done in time.

At last, in the reading passage, the author believes that for individuals, they will improve quality of lives. In contrast, the lecture holds the opposite opinion and believes that working in shorter weeks would decrease worker’s working ability and harm their chances of keeping careers. In this way, four-day workers are likely to lose their jobs and they will not be taken into account since companies prefer to hire five-day workers for ensuring the normal operation of the entire system.

In the lecture, the professor made several points about that assembling a group of people into a team can not approach certain new projects. However, the reading passage contends that if it is to do so, than there are several advantages. The professor’s lecture casts doubt on the reading by using a number of points that are contrary to.

The first point that the professor uses to doubt the reading is that some team members almost get a free ride, which is have little contribution to the team. But when the team does a good job, they’d never forget to share the benefits. Besides, even though they have inside, the contribution is belonging to the whole team. When the real contributor is asked about the process, their attitude is just opposite.
By contrast, the reading passage states that a group of people has a wider range of knowledge, expertise and skills than any single individual is likely to possess.

Another point the reading passage points out is that people all engage in it, so they can complete a program more quickly and can come up with a creative idea. However, according to the professor, she claims that it will actually take more time to build agreement among those members.

At last, the lecture mentions that it can be gathering a group of people is rewarding for members since members who have voice in determining things can feel better while individual members have the change to shine. On the other hand, the professor indicates that is this case, if influential people say an idea does not work, the idea will be ignored as soon as possible. The other situation is several influential people regard an idea as creative, then they will not care what other members notion about moving direction. As a result, if the program failed, the blame spreads to every member of the team.

人们应该坚持自己有挑战性的梦想还是注重实现现实的梦想。

People all have dreams. Some people stick to their challenging dreams by putting great efforts, while others would prefer to make their realistic dream come true since that are easier to reach. As far as I concern, clinging to realistic dream would be better because it is a target appropriate to people’s personal skills.

According to people’s power, they can choose to realize something they want. In this case, they get a dream suitable for them, so they have motivation to put effort to it. Compared with it, challenging dreams, which is also needing a long term to have it done, are likely to make people lose confidence and strong will as the time goes by. A study researched by A University points out that a short term dream which are relatively easily to reach, offers people ambitions and more hope since they know they are totally have the capacity to make it true finally. From it, we can know we need a target as our motive force, and when we choose it, the target should be appropriate to ourselves.

A realistic dream can actually made people be better than an unreal dream can do. It is quite obvious that when we make plans for our challenging dreams, it seems too far away from us to catch it so we stick to it a few days and quit it which finally we get nothing. However, if we take the one which is practical, we can totally cling to it, and in the process, we can learn not only knowledge, but also valuable personality.

As matter of fact, a realistic dream is always require people’s great efforts, so it is equally challenging. It is people who make it come true, then for the person, the dream become practical. Hence, people who stick to realistic dream can also learn what a changing dream can lesson.

From what I discussed above, I would like to say people really should pay attention to realistic dream, and should not look down upon it just because it is relatively easy to reach. We have to know, whatever what kind of our dream is, if we do nothing to it, we can not achieve it finally.

In the reading passage, the author made several points about that some paintings attributed Rembrandt, a famous painter, were not actually painted by him. However, the professor’s lecture casts doubt on the reading by using a number of points that are contrary to.

The reading passage states that woman in the portrait dresses like a servant, but she is also wearing luxurious fur collar that no servant could afford. By contrast, the professor in the lecture claims that the collar fur was added after the paint was made, probably because someone wants to increase its value.

Another point the reading passage points out is that the light and shadow in the painting do not fit together while Rembrandt was a master of it. However, according to the professor, she maintains that after they removed the added color, they have seen the original one which is totally realistic just as what we expected Rembrandt did.

At last, the author mentions that the painting was painted on a panel made of several pieces of wood glued together which is not used by Rembrandt as we know. On the other hand, the professor indicates that after the fur collar was added, they enlarged the wood pieces to make the paint more valuable. So, the original painting is actually painted in a single piece of wood as we would expect in Rembrandt’s painting. Beside, the piece of wood in this painting is actually from the same tree to another painting painted by Rembrandt.

24# Chwy 继续加油(附件中忘记说了一点,长短句的使用要恰当,有些地方不太懂,个人交流,欢迎讨论)

人们应该坚持自己有挑战性的梦想还是注重实现现实的梦想。
People all have dreams. Some people stickto their challenging dreams by putting great efforts, while others would preferto make their realistic dream come true since that are easier to reach. As faras I concerned, clinging to realistic dream would be better because it is a (goal)targetappropriate to people’s personal skills(what does “personal skills” mean?).

According to people’s power(Chinglish),they can choose to realize something they want. In this case, they get a dreamsuitable for them, so they have motivation to put effort to it. Compared withit, challenging dreams, which is also needing a long term to have it done, arelikely to make people lose confidence and strong will as the time goes by. Astudy researched by A University points out that the short term goals which arerelatively easy to reach offers people ambitions and more hope since they(按照语法这里的they指提short-term dreams) knowthey are totally have the capacity to make it true finally. From it, we canknow we need a target as our motive force, and when we choose it, the targetshould be appropriate to ourselves(用长句可能更合适,四个短句让我觉得思维不连贯).

A realistic dream can actually made peoplebe better than an unreal dream can do. It is quite obvious that when we makeplans for our challenging dreams, it seems too far away from us to catch it sowe stick to it a few days and quit it which finally we get nothing. However, ifwe take the one which is practical, we can totally cling to it, and in theprocess, we can learn not only knowledge, but also valuable personality. (空洞了一点,用例子来证实)

As matter of fact, a realistic dream isalways require people’s great efforts, so it is equally challenging. It ispeople who make it come true, then for the person, the dream become practical.Hence, people who stick to realistic dream can also learn what a changing dreamcan lesson(不懂,仍然没有例子来证实).

From what I discussed above, I would liketo say people really should pay attention to realistic dream, and should notlook down upon it just because it is relatively easy to reach. We have to know, whatever what kind of our dream is, if we do nothing to it, we can not achieveit finally.
