UFL VS OSU ？

今天早上收到UFL统计系的拒信了，但是人家鼓励我申他们家的Biostatistics，说可能给我奖。现在纠结了，手上有个OSU Statistics PhD，但都是没奖。
俺是申还是不申呢...？但是他家Biostatistics系2010年才建的啊....
俺以后不太想搞学术，PhD毕业以后还是想找工作，不知道Florida和Ohio两个地方就业咋样，所以求版上各位指点一下。

However, we think you have a strong academic record, and we would like
to encourage you to apply to the relatively new MS and PhD Programs in
Biostatistics at University of Florida. The Department of Biostatistics
was established in 2010, and several internationally known
biostatisticians are expected to join the existing 12 faculty members in
Fall 2011.  The MS program in Biostatistics is self funded with no
financial aid. Tuition for the two-year program is approximately $21,000
per year, and the expected living expenses are about $15,000 per year.
We plan to admit up to 10 students into the MS program this year. If you

UFL的生统应该蛮牛的，他是去年从统计系直接分出去的。很多统计的牛人都跟着去了，还有大牛Agresti撑着，应该很不错

我收到的也是这个邮件，然后联系了下那个biostat的系头头，他（她？）就这么说，但是也不确定。不过经你这么一说，我也感觉是广告了:L

worth to try, at least. biostat is used in Stat depart. It is just seperated out several years ago. But I guess that it still strong in biostat.
