059 Some people are always in a hurry to go places and get things done. Other people prefer to take their time and live life at a slower pace. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Different people have different paces whiling dealing with things. Someone likes to go in a hurry. As for me, however, I prefer to have a relatively slow pace in my work. Actually, I believe that process outweighs the destination, which makes me to adopt a slow life style.
Doing things slowly allows me to have enough time to make a plan and prepare for it, helping me do my work better. While some people, including some of my friends, like to do things in a hurry. Admittedly, it seems that their efficiency is higher than me. But the qualities of their work, as it always turns out, are not so satisfied, not due to their abilities, but because of the poorer preparation. They move so fast that there is little time to consider the situation comprehensively and make a proper schedule. Learning from this, I would like to fulfill my work step by step. Not only can I gather more useful resources for the work, but also I can seize good opportunities. Although seeming slow, all things go steadily.
In addition, the theme of my life is enjoying the life itself. In other words, what means more to me is the beauty of the process that otherwise probably missed if I move too fast. So I am inclined to have a slower pace. Just like going out for a trip. Although the destination is attractive, I do not want to achieve it at the cost of the beautiful landscape along the way. As it goes deeper, life is nothing but a process. Everyone comes to the world and leaves. If there must be a destination, it would be the tomb. Why focus on every small station too much? When we arrive to a station, we need to take a break to appreciate the way, instead of heading to another immediately.
In conclusion, as discussed above, in order to handle my work with more confidence and relish my life better, I would like to choose a slow pace. |
