TPO 19 Independent Writing  小弟第一篇习作,欢迎各位高手拍砖!

Topic: Do you agree or disagree with thefollowing statement?

In order to be well-informed, a person mustget information from many different news sources.

Use specific reasons and examples tosupport answer.

A few years ago, I usually turned on the TVor read the newspaper to obtain the latest current affairs. At present, instead, surfing the internet to get the news and chat with my friends throughMSN, Facebook and Twitter are my daily routines. And I believe I am not thespecial case. With the rapid development of modern science and technology, anocean of individuals especially teenagers turned to the Internet and mobilephones to master various information so as to become well-informed persons. From my personal experience and the remarkable evidence that I have collected,I hold the view point that without access to varieties of news source, a personcould never know anything at instant.

There exists multitude ways for us.Best-seller books make us understand what's the current fashion and trends inthe society. Newspapers help us realize what happened in the yesterday's world.Magazines would reveal us further investigation and deep thinking on a specificissue. With regard to internet, if you care about something special, just login Google website and type in words or sentences. Twitter, Facebook, Gtalk andMSN, etc., needless to say, are undoubtedly the most convenient ways to keep intouch with people you like. Living in this information society, it's rathereasy to find an appropriate method to know anything you want.

What if we unavoidably lose or unable touse these information means? This is not so difficult to imagine such kind ofawful situation. Online shopping would be fair tales since Amazon and Ebay hadno longer existed. We would never share the happiness of friends' successimmediately because email and Instant Message tools were disappeared whileletter could only reach us quite a few days later. Supermarkets such as Walmartwould face the dramatic decrease in sales as a consequence of no more TVadvertisements. Modern industry would be seriously damaged for the supplychains could not be connected instantly and effectively.

Summarily, from what has been discussedabove, it's an undeniable fact that if we would like to know things as soon aspossible and as comprehensive as possible, there is no way except that we haveaccess to kinds of news.

你说的几点我都改过来了,另外自己重新修改了一下。请问yiyiniu, 我这样的写法不会偏题吧?

A few years ago, I usually turned on the TVor read the newspapers to keep up with the latest current affairs. At present, instead, surfing the internet to obtain the news and chatting with my friendsthrough MSN, Facebook and Twitter are my daily routines. Our society is repletewith persons like me and I believe I am not a special case. With the rapiddevelopment of modern science and technology, an ocean of individualsespecially teenagers turned to the Internet and mobile phones to grasp variousinformation so as to become well-informed persons. From my personal experienceand the remarkable evidence that I have collected, I hold the viewpoint thatwithout access to plenty of news sources, a person could hardly know anything inan instant.

To begin with, there exists multitude waysfor us. Best sellers make us understand what are the current fashion and trendsin the society. Newspapers help us realize what happened in the yesterdayworld. Magazines would present us further investigation and deep thinking on aspecific issue. With regard to internet, if you care about something special, just log in Google website and type in words or sentences. Twitter, Facebook,Gtalk and MSN, etc., needless to say, are undoubtedly the most convenient waysto keep in touch with buddies you like. Living in this information society, tofind an appropriate method to know what you want could be achieved withoutgreat effort.

What if we unavoidably lose or unable touse these information approaches? This is not quite difficult to imagine suchkind of awful situation. Online shopping would be fair tales since Amazon andEbay had no longer existed. We would never share the happiness of friends'success immediately because email and Instant Message softwares disappearedwhile letters could only reach us quite a few days later. Supermarkets such asWalmart would encounter the shockingly decrease in sales as a consequence of nomore TV advertisements. Modern industry would be seriously destroyed for the supplychains could not be connected instantly and effectively.

Summarily, from what has been discussedabove, it's an undeniable fact that if we would like to know things as soon aspossible and as comprehensive as possible, there is no way except that we couldgain access to different kinds of news sources.
