I fundamentally agree with the opinion of the speaker that the major cities of a nation should receive the financial support they need for the preservation and generation of the cultural traditions,although many will argue that the cultural traditions are easy like to be destroyed in major cities as well.

Admittedly,the conflict of the cultural traditions and new life style ,especially in major cities,become more and more severe.The major cities,in general ,thrive accomplished with the the development of economy and the transfusion of the exotic culture,which is more attractable for youth.The people live in major cities also have the opportunity to access various kinds of culture from the other nations and the impulsion to abandon the cultural traditions of their own.So how to protect the cultural traditions from being infringed become a urgent problem of many politician and intellectual.

On the other hand,my support with the speaker’s view based on two sides discussed below.Firstly,the major cities always take the dominate status in a nation,from economy to politics.The cognizant ability and the level of education of the people in major cities,which are crucial factors to understand the importance of the cultural traditions,will improve the viability of the cultural traditions.While those traditions are popular in major cities, there will be enough power to affect the government and all the nation.

Secondly, financing the development of major cities is the momentum that preserve the cultural traditions practically.The municipality or the social groups would not have the enough money for the preservation of the cultural traditions until those cities thrive.After all,there are so many problems need to be resolved before the preservation of cultural traditions,such as unemployment,security of citizen and so on.


In sum,I consider that providing the financial support to the major cities is necessary and reasonable for the purpose of preserving the cultural traditions,on the basis of resolving the conflict of the cultural traditions and extrinsic culture.
