1 indeed, people can solve some problems completely by themselves or turn to families,
For instance, seek jobs & make decision about marriage or divorce etc.
However, we probably meet many issuse which we need support from government.
For instance, when we were violated by bad person, we need juridical help &　being treat
unequally by boss etc.

2 we need the support and subsidies from social welfare system , which run by government. That is very crucial......

1 government can give you a help in urgence. for exmaple, when you encount a
robber, do you give a call to your mother or 911
2 government has foresight. Take how to cultivate a children for instance. Governmant has researchers to  give a detailed and definite plan.For a lot of family members,they do not have especial knowledge and background information, they do not know how to teach student step by stepy
3 government can take some measures when effort of individual is too tiny。when we face the economical depression，the government can give us a hand to pull through the recession。For example，my father lose his job，and I do not have enough money to go to university。At this moment， country give me interest -frree loan
