7.13题目:Which is better, challenging plans about one's future or practical plans about one's future?

Practical plans:眼太高,毕业生找不到工作

创业风险大,大多数失败,社会资源浪费

企业也想要踏实实干的员工,而非好高骛远的,这样同事之间也会相处融洽

In modern society, rapid development of economy and abundance of material life tempt people to have a greedy desire to achieve more money within less time span.  Today more people have challenging plans about their future than those in the last century whose wishes are just to find a job and have fun with their family. I do not mean that challenging plans are wrong, but for most graduates and employees, practical plans about their future are beneficial to themselves and also to corporations.

Practical plans about future enable graduates to take the first step to pave their way to the promising future. Undoubtedly, the first step to start a career is to find a job. However, lacking of technical talents needed by corporations or enterprises in job market was a not uncommon phenomenon in the last few years. Contrary to this phenomenon, nearly 60% to 70% university graduates cannot find satisfying jobs every year. Why did this perplexing situation happen? Study showed that many graduates were not willing to become technical workers on the forefront of production, some rejected job offers because of not having a decent pay. Most graduates' challenging plans to be admitted to foreign companies or large financial institutions impeded them to acquire jobs because those companies just offered a few job vacancies and therefore graduates have to fight their way out in fierce competition.

For employees, they can avoid making impulsive and hasty decisions if they have practical plans about future rather than challenging ones. Practical plans help to prevent employees to abandon their present jobs without thoughtful consideration and to start establishing their own business. Under the current government policy that encourages people to establish business, many employees attempt to take a try.  However, researches revealed that above 95% of entrepreneurs finally failed halfway, and only 3% could maintain their business for over 5 years. The low rate of success of entrepreneurs with challenging plans waste their own precious time and money and even efficient social resources.

Finally, corporations and enterprises prefer employees with practical plans about their future instead of challenging ones. One reason is that employees with practical plans tend to be devoted to their work and therefore corporations do not have to worry that they will switch jobs to work in other companies. Another reason is that employees with practical plans usually have an amicable relationship with their colleagues. This amicable atmosphere motivates employees to cooperate and collaborate, and helps corporation to operate more efficiently.

In conclusion, it is better to make practical plans about one's future than to make challenging ones for most graduates and employees and also for corporations which recruit them.

In modern society, rapid development of economy and abundance of material life tempt people to have a greedy desire to achieve more money(这个动词有点奇怪呢) within less time span.  Today more people have challenging plans about their future than those in the last century whose wishes are just to find a job and have fun with their family. I do not mean that challenging plans are wrong, but for most graduates and employees, practical plans about their future are beneficial to themselves and also to corporations.

May be better in my opinion)

For employees, they can avoid making impulsive and hasty decisions if they have practical plans about future rather than challenging ones(Compared to challenging plans, practical plans may be helpful to avoid impulsive or hasty decisions for employees). Practical plans help to prevent employees to abandon their present jobs without thoughtful consideration and to start establishing their own business.
