[Choice is an illusion. In reality, our lives are controlled by the society in which we live


Marked by the accelerated pace into a more and more diversified and complicated state ,our society exerts such a strong impact upon us that ,just as the speaker said , in really our life are controlled by the society in which we live . But , in my opinion ,it is too arbitrary for the speaker to say that choice is an illusion.
  The society, whether we aware of it or not ,in fact controlled our daily life,  And it is culture , a system of shared beliefs, values, customs ,by which our society takes as a effective means of exerting its influence. Culture, using the family as its first of many conduits, teaches the children how to behave in a manner that is acceptable to adults and that garner them rewards, gradually, the thoughts ,the rules and everything our society wants to convey become subconscious and habitual . That is why usually those who are nurtured in the same society could be expected to behave correctly and predictably. From the anthropologists’  point of view, the life history of a individual is first and for most an accommodation  to the pattern and standards traditionally handed down in his society. From the moment of his birth ,the society into which he was born shape his experience and behavior. That is to say, our  society ,by means of culture, instills every one of us the structure ,with which supplies us with the basic skills necessary for us to adapt to itself.
So from a broad point of view ,every behavior we behave ,every thought we think ,is rooted deeply into our society .  
  Some one may argue ,that at least we can have our own future holding in our hand . our future is unknown and we can make our best to achieve what we are expecting . but the truth is ,no matter what future we consciously select, it is the future that would not exceed the possible deviance, or the possible range with which  our society could provide. we could become scientist ,dentist ,officers ,vendors ,but they are the profession that already exist in our society. It seems we are doomed to select from which our society could offer. Maybe it is a little bit too sad to think in this point of view , but after all, our society need all kinds of professions and careers available to support its function, and we need to cater for this in order to make a better life. So from this we can perceive that our future is absolutely determined by the society in which we live.

By illustrate what I stated above ,I don’t mean that choice is illusion, in contrast I firmly believe that choice is meaningful and deserves our considerable attention. We make big choices in every turn of our life, our study choices, our career choices , our marriage choices. Every one of them would add up to influence our whole life .  it is base on our human nature that the standard of our life is the most important thing that we take into account.  Consequently , by sensible making our choices each time ,and together with the skill that our society give us , we could earn a better life  .

In sum ,the society ,in which we were born ,live and die ,and which shape our personality , lead our road ,and determining our future ,controls our life. We must make sensible choice at each important turn in our life to meet the need of society ,in order to earn a luxurious life. That is to say ,our choice is not meaningless, they  determine  our life.

还有有些地方不知道为什么出现过去时。不必要的。

文章很好。不过，第一段的论证有点意犹未尽，加几个例子或者细分说理会更好。我前两天刚好平过类似的一个题目，我的观点是，选择多少，关键在于一个社会生产力高低以及政治文化氛围的宽松与否。这个不知道你是否可以用进去。

另外还可以举例。
