Do you agree or disagree with the following statement:
People who go outside are more successful and happier than people who stay in villages.


Today in China, there are a growing number of people choosing to live and work outside. Most of them say that they love the life outside in the big city. In my opinion, those people who go outside are indeed more successful and happier than those doing farm work and raising children in the village, because moving outside could broaden people’s horizon and provide more opportunities for people to get a better job.

The world is getting more and more diversified, so people should go outside to experience this colorful world, which could enlarge their scope of knowledge and help them to understand different cultures.
For instance, many of my college classmates have gone abroad to study in US, Japan and so on. They learnt lots of advanced technologies and creative ideas from foreign university, such as artificial intelligence and genetic engineering. Besides that, perhaps more important, they experienced an utterly different kind of culture, which gave them a deep impression. To those people who keep staying in the village, however, they have no such a chance to have a look at the world outside their village, so their knowledge and view are limited seriously.

Also, going outside provides more chances for people to get higher-salary and more decent jobs. The jobs in the large city often provide workers a more ideal pay, a more comfortable environment, and a more stable life. For instance, the famous Lenovo company in Beijing, its employees get at least 5000 yuan per month as salary, not to mention the bonus every month. Their working environment is quite comfortable, there is an air-condition in every room in the company. Also every employee has 25 days’ paid leave. In contrast, there are much fewer jobs in the village, most people are engaged in farm work, which is boring and less paid. And if there is a drought or waterlog in the village, people could even live a life.

Of course, going outside has its own drawback. Going outside means that you go into a new environment, so you might feel lonely and unadaptable at first. There are no old friends around you and you might be not accustomed to the diet in the beginning. But as you live there for a just short period of time, you will adapt the new environment. All in all, the advantages of going outside overweigh its drawback.

To sum up, I agree with the statement that people who go outside are more successful and happier that those who stay in villages. The outside world could supply you with much more knowledge and a broader view, and also there are more jobs waiting for you than those in the village.
