Everyone has a dream. Dream is the lighthouse which can tell us where to go and what to do. In my opinion, life is like a process of fulfilling dreams. Challenging dream can bring us more opportunities and help us to achieve success no matter at personal perspective or community level.

At the personal level, people can be inspired by challenging plans. One's potential is endless and nobody knows what we can do and how far we can reach. when facing challenging plans, people always work harder. I believe challenge and pressure can bring out the best in people. My dad was born in a small village. He learned construction skill from my grandfather and planed to be a builder in the village just like my grandfather. But after a trip to Zhengzhou, a big city near his village, he was attracted by the colorful life and made up his mind to live there. After five years' hard wording and struggle, he became a successful engineer in Zhengzhou. If he chose to stay in the village and stop following a more challenging dream, he would be just a country worker.

At the community level, over the span of human history, challenging dream is a core factor upon which we human beings depend to advance in a steady and long-range progress. Almost every evolutionary invention came from a "impossible dream". We wanted to travel in water, so we invented boat. We wanted to fly, so we invented airplane.

Furthermore, in my opinion, people should pursue challenging dreams through practical steps. A three-hundred-mile journey starts with the first. No matter how crazy our dreams are, we should be earnest and down to earth. Without thousands of steps' practical hard-working, we cannot fulfill our challenging dreams.

All in all, challenging dreams ignite the potential of individuals and help a country to advance. We should follow a challenging dream.
