签证问题锦集--有点乱, 大家心领神会就好

问题篇:
1. Why don't you change your status in INS?
2. C: what type of visa r u applying for?
M: F1;
C: which school?
M: U of ***
C: when r u going to get to school;
M: Aug 12, orientation
C: Do u have offer letter?
M: sure, here u are …..

3. 你是什么签证?在哪个学校?学什么专业?还要学几年?为什么要添两份表?
4. 一是转身分的证明，二是research的方向，三是资金证明。
5. 无移民的问题，有无犯罪记录，有无亲戚在美国，有无据签记录这些常规问题(NO)
6. 要了I-20,DS表和护照,问题很少,就是在美国待了多久,现在学什么,有没有学校of
fer letter.
7. 她的research有什么应用,对她(签证官)的生活有什么影响
8. 一个是何时开学,由于她I-20上第五项的report日期是8月4号,所以没有问题,
9. 是bank里那么多钱哪来的,她说是在国内工作过3年. 她希望银行钱比较多的注意一下,只要有合理的解释就好了!
10. VO：HAVE YOU HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IMMIGRATION，POLICE，...？ ME：NO，NO，NO，NO，NO，。。。
VO：在表格上用红笔划了几下，DO YOU HAVE ANY FAMILY MEMBERS IN US？
ME：NO
VO：DO YOU HAVE A BOY FRIEND？WHERE IS HE？ ARE YOU SERIOUS WITH YOUR
RELATIONSHIP？我估计这段是逗我玩儿的，我就都照实回答了。
VO：WHAT COMPANY IS YOUR FATHER WORKING FOR？
ME：*******
VO：WHO IS SUPPORTING YOUR STUDY？
ME：I HAVE SCHOLARSHIPS
VO：CAN YOU SHOW ME YOUR OFFER LETTER？
ME：SURE
VO：WHAT ARE YOU STUDYING NOW？
ME：APPLIED ECONOMICS
VO：WHAT DO YOU MEAN “APPLIED”？
ME：解释了一通， VO皱着眉头点了点头
VO：WHAT DOES THE WORD ** IN YOUR NAME MEAN？
ME：*****

11. vo（看着护照问）：你的名字是什么意思？
VO：不熟。但你在那待的时间也不长（可能看见我的永久住址是西安，又这么问）
Me：对，我很小就去西安了。
VO：我知道西安，古城，是好几朝的首都。
Me：（感觉气氛挺好，接着侃）那你一定知道兵马俑了（他拼命点头），我接着吹他，你
对中国看起来很了解阿。
VO：居然谦虚起来，没有没有。
VO：（看着I20）你现在要去学XX？
Me：对。
VO：你都学了些什么课？
Me：（有点迷惑，他用的是完成时，可我感觉他想问跟这个专业有关的东东）我还没有注
册上课，你是想问我大学学的课么？我有成绩单，您想看么？
VO：行。（我递进去，他亲手拆看）
VO：（看着信封上的学校名）你们学校专门研究航空？
Me：我也笑，小吹了一把，讲了一下我们学校多么多么好，多少人向往这所学校，我当年
就是很想跨入我们学校大门，呵呵。
VO：（还是那么笑，看着成绩单问）Military Training 你们都干些啥？
Me：（真是没想到，也担心有点敏感，不知道怎么说了，就给他for example）其实挺简
单的，比如说，我们就在太阳地下一直站着，不许动（给他摆个军姿）。大部分时间就是
干这个。
VO：（笑着扬扬眉毛，还我成绩单，然后开始看表格）现在住在Miami？
Me：对。
VO：（发现和老公学校不在一起）那和你老公学校有多远？
Me：要开两天车。
VO：（瞪大眼睛，像做怪脸似的看我）两天？（之前准备过这个问题，正要开始说，他就
开口问别的了，不过后面基本上是yes，no问题（其实表格都添了），例如你在美国有没
有任何犯罪记录，在其他国家呢？除了你先生，有没有别的亲戚在美国？感觉问完这些公
式话的该结束了，他又突然问我毕业后打算，这个都准备过了，不过因为已经很放松了，
也没按计划的说，就说了两句挺空的话，看他拼命点头，也就打住。最后他终于说approv
ed了，让我去等吧。

12. 申请什么签证？以前申请过几回？有没有被据签过？有没有被指控或者判罪过？结没
结婚？妻子在哪里？一一回答后，就开始问我的专业，呵呵，正中我下怀，要知道自己准
备最好的就是这个。胡侃了一会以后，签证官依旧用着怀疑的眼光看着我――这小子说的
是人话吗？我看了他的目光暗自心惊，连忙翻开我的文件夹，取出早已写好的专业简介，
恭敬地请他过目。果然他再也没有纠缠这个问题了。继续聊了一会，又要求我出示我下学
年资金来源证明，面无表情酷酷地告诉我可以到外面去等签证了。

13. 建议准备一份单独打印的research interest,我们中的一个被要求当场手写，尽管
她有准备好的resume.

5.. 要准备的材料(根据大使馆的信息)

·One DS-156 application form per applicant (Citizens of Cuba, North Korea, the Peoples Republic of China, Russia, and Vietnam, over the age of 16, must provide two application forms).
·One DS-157 application form per male applicant. This is a mandatory form for all male applicants between the ages of 16 and 45, regardless of nationality and regardless of where they apply. Females from Iran, Iraq, Cuba, Sudan, Syria, Libya and North Korea, ages 16 or older, must also complete this application form.
·One DS-158 application form for ALL applicants applying for U.S. student visas (F1), exchange visitor visas (J1) and vocational student visas (M1).
·Valid Passport (valid for at least 6 months past the intended stay in the U.S.)
·Proof of legal status in Canada/Mexico: original or certified copy
·1 Passport-size photo taken within the last 6 months, measuring 2 x 2 inches, color on a white/light background, showing full face, no head covering. (Citizens of Cuba, North Korea, the Peoples Republic of China, Russia, and Vietnam over the age of 16 must provide two photos for each applicant). ·Older passports containing previous visas
·Documents substantiating previous legal status in the U.S.
·$100 U.S. non-refundable application fee

·I-20 Certificate of Eligibility
·Proof of sufficient funds to cover all expenses while in the U.S.
·Proof of ties/residence to a country outside the U.S. which the applicant has no intentions of abandoning
