"The most practical and effective way to protect wilderness areas is to attract more tourists to these areas through environmentally sensitive projects."

Admittedly, it is true that to attract more tourists to wilderness areas can make more revenues and thus to some extent promote the enterprise of protecting the areas. However, we should not turn blind eye to the negative effects on the areas because of more tourists being here. It can lead to more negative effects than positive effects.

The ecological equilibrium in wilderness areas is too weak to withhold any negative effects. Especially, tourists have bad influence on the areas. Although it is encouraged to hold the ecological tourism, which the guiders will play an important role in the tour, saying not to do something that has bad influence on the wilderness area, and there are many notices like what the guiders said, the visitors will not obey the rules completely so that they do harm to the areas. For example, the visitors maybe cast the rubbish here and there, and they maybe ruin the plants and animals and so on. Moreover, if more and more people come to visit the wilderness areas, whose nature is wild, that will lead to the loss of the wilderness. And thus, we not only do not protect the areas but also ruin the ones.

On the second place, the material stake will entice the managers in the wilderness areas not to emphasize the protection of the areas but to hold the enterprise of them. This is a considerable fact that managers maybe ruin the areas in order to attract more voyagers. For instance, visitors are allowed to make a picnic in that place, and thus, tourists will go to cut the trees and seize the animals to make up the picnic, which does harm to the wilderness areas, not to promote the protection of the areas.

In many cases, whether the plan is viable or not is still to debate even though through environmentally sensitive project. As the analysis above, there should be a question that it has room or spatial place enough to uphold more and more tourists. After all, it is a wild area, many buildings should not be set up there even they are not allowed to build. So, they should take the traffic into account, such as the question that if the traffic is convenient and available to visitors.

To sum up, the question that the areas is too weak to withhold the more visitors is considerable for us before drawing any conclusion. Furthermore, we should account for the managers in those areas who whether will do harm to the areas or not in order to emphasize the lucrative benefits. And we should consider that the plan is available or not even if through the project. Therefore, the assertion the speaker states is contrary to mine.
