小马过河的机经··
你觉得完全做完一个project 再开始做另一个project比较好,还是同时进行2个或更多的project.
According to a recent survey on the internet, it can be learned that students in universities always encounter with a problem that there are so many projects they need to finish or they want to take part in, which result it a heat discussion among people involving whether students should finish a project at a time and then start another, or they had better to handle with two or more projects simultaneously. I hold the view that it’s better to carry on several projects at the same time.
As many people claim, if students focus on one topic at a time, they can be engaged in the project, which contributes to profound analyses and precisely scientific outcomes. Moreover, they have more time to think about the problems critically and independently and then, most importantly, form their own opinions. Considerable though the advantages that students do one research after another enjoys are, they cannot compete with the benefits that students work on several projects in the meantime brings about, especially when efficiency and a sense of achievement were taken into account.
First and foremost, it’s more efficiently to be dedicated in two or more projects in the meanwhile. In accordance with some scientists, people’s work efficiency will decrease if they just focus on one thing. To keep working efficiently, people have better to do several works at the same time and switch them periodically/regularly. I may quote a single example of myself. When I was sophomore, I have two programs regarding different subjects, socialization and women studies, both of which must be completed before 1st, December. At first, I planned to finish one of them first and then undertook the other one. However, I found that it’s hard for me to focus on one topic all the day and felt tired. I spent half of a month on the first project but made little progress. Hence, I change my strategy. I engaged myself in the program as to socialization on the morning and then pay more attention to the project on women studies in the afternoon. Eventually, I accomplished both of the programs before the deadline and put forward meaningful viewpoints. Obviously, students can work more efficiently and achieve more remarkable outcomes if they work on several topics on the same time.
Secondly, students always enjoy a stronger sense of achievement after completing two or more projects together. It’s very challenging for students to study two projects simultaneously, and they have to work hardly to get the works finished. The harder they work, the stronger are the senses of success. Let me take a real-world example. When my cousin was a student in university, he always needed to work on different projects with his professors at the same time. “It was really a hard time for me. My life was full of a variety of programs and I have little spare time; nonetheless, it was also a wonderful time for me. After completing all of the programs, I enjoyed a sense of success that I had never experienced before”, my cousin sad. A sense of achievement usually plays a central role in spurring people to perfect themselves. Thereby, working on several cases in the meanwhile is extremely profitable to students.
In a nutshell, apparently, all the evidence support a just conclusion that student should focus on two or more cases at the same time. Although there may be a couple of benefits to student to be devoted in one project; however, there are far more strengths to work on several projects. Students can carry on the projects more efficiently and obtain stronger senses of achievement. I still can point out a large amount of merits if I was given more time. |
