---这道题，太明显了，跟着感觉做题，而且做得很自信，文章全都看懂了。就是选错了
---这段话主题就是“降雪量”&“温度”，明显这道题问的是有关“温度”的部分
---一看到summer觉得好热啊，嗯，对，温度高，就是它了，没错？错了！
---正确答案定位在这里：A surplus allows snow to accumulate and for the pressure of snow accumulated over the years to transform buried snow into glacial ice with a depth great enough for the ice to flow

---第二次选的时候选对了
---做题的时候心慌，赶着着急做完，看到“the hypothetical melting of the world’s glaciers”里面有不认识的专有名词，以为是一个什么理论学说，然后找了一下这一段的主题句，D符合，就选了，实际上这道题要根据上下文背景去选，第二次不慌不忙的做的时候就能做对。。。。所以不是阅读理解有问题，是你做题时候的心态和状态有问题！

Status: 社会地位/威望/重要性/身份/状况 （本来答对了，做到后面跑回去改错了。。。）

原文：The tradition of religious sculpture extends over most historical periods but is less clearly delineated than that of stonewares or porcelains, for it embraces the old custom of earthenware burial ceramics with later religious images and architectural ornament.

这道题有难度，做对的关键点在于:

a.对delineate的理解，如果不认识，猜对也很重要；
b.句子内部逻辑关系：前半句的less than比较关系，及后面for it前后的因果关系
c."for it"中"it"的指代内容，如果理解为指代句首的sculpture就歇了；其实是指代that of stonewares of porcelains

整句话的意思是：
虽然宗教用途的雕刻品历史悠久，跨越几个朝代，但有关陶器的历史记载更为清晰；
有关陶器的记载不仅包含了古代陪用于陪葬的陶制品，同时包含了后期出现的宗教信仰图片，甚至用于建筑方面的装饰品
