报AD@MSU广告

继上午收到EMERSON COLLEGE小奖OFFER以后，晚上回来终于收到MSU的AD。
2月底就在GIMS上看到状态变成了A DECISION HAS BEEN MADE。不过网上查不到自己到底是好是坏，发邮件问小米也完全是石沉大海，上网搜索说法也是各异的。当时朋友安慰我说这么早就发出的应该会是AD，怀着忐忑的心情每天到宿舍邮箱查看，今天总算是收到了一个好的结果。如果各位的状态也变成了我这样的，那么估计会是好事情哦！

现在收获了一枚OFFER@Emerson College，两枚AD@MSU和CUHK，一个WL@Syracuse，以及一个REJ@UFL，剩下USC啦~~希望能够早日收到面试通知或者直接来个AD！;P

也顺祝各位早日收到Dream School好消息！

Congratulations! When did you submit your application to MSU? I've also applied to the same program, but haven't received a decision yet. Are you living in US? I've never thought they send a decision via postal mail.

你的状态显示的是“A decision has NOT been made"吗？他们真的是一直没有邮件然后直接一封平邮寄过来的！！！！！

Anyway, after reading your post, I've just check my GIMS status and felt anxiety. My status is still "A decision HAS NOT been made." I don't know why a decision about my application hasn't been made yet, even though I got an e-mail stating that "Your application material is complete" from Rachel Iseler on January 31st.

9# nanans Sorry about that!!!
Plez just wait. I guess this program might receive a very large number of applications, and that require a lot of time for them to make further decisions. My application was completed at mid Jan., and I never expect MSU will give me admission in such short time, cuz my TOEFL and GRE are not that satisfying.
I received that email as well but when my status changed into "A decision HAS been made", there is no notification sent by email at all.

The best is yet to come! Good luck dear~XD

(I am still confused whether you meant 'you submitted your application in mid-Jan' or 'Rachel Iseler completed secretary review and sent your application to admission committee in mid-Jan'... Sorry ..同类..)

I'm sure that MSU and Emerson gave you admissions, because they had thought you were qualified for those positions. So just feel proud of yourself! :) Your kindness has helped me very much. I really appreciate your help and wish you the best of luck in everything that you do.

12# nanans I recheck my email. The last time I received email from Rachel Iseler was 6th Jan. In the email she said "Your application to our program is valued, and we are trying to work quickly to process the materials and notify you of the admission status as soon as possible.  We apologize for the delay and thank you in advance for your patience and understanding."
But since then I no longer received email from MSU (even when my admission status has been changed!). My GIMS was last updated at 15th Feb. and after a month (today) I finally received the airmail.
Keep it up and trust yourself! Your offers and admissions are coming!

楼主，我申的它家的PR, 我已经开始怀疑个rachel简直就是发模板邮件的机器人啊！！！发的email没有一个回复的啊！！我3/11号才寄得材料，一周过去了状态显示一直是Your application is incomplete。。。。我只有干着急。

那个Rachel竟然会和你说："Your application to our program is valued, and we are trying to work quickly to process the materials and notify you of the admission status as soon as possible.  We apologize for the delay and thank you in advance for your patience and understanding."  这个是你材料寄过去多久才发给你的？再发这个邮件之后你的STATUS转成 SECRETARY REVIEW COMPLETE的吗？

14# giseleshen 我应该是12月底的时候申请的他们家，交完申请费后按照惯例就收到receipt的邮件。
然后1月5号到6号一共收到Rachel3封邮件，分别如下：
第一封：
“Your graduate application account has been created. You may return
to edit your application before submitting it for review by following
this link: https://www.gims.msu.edu/gims/applicant/status.do ”

第二封：
“Your graduate application account has been submitted for review. You may check
the status at anytime by visiting: https://www.gims.msu.edu/gims/applicant/status.do”

第三封：
“We have received a significant amount of material in the last few weeks and it is taking us some time to process all the material.

After the materials are processed if we do discover you may have missing items, we will provide you enough time to supply the department with the required materials.  You will be notified via email once we have updated the GIMS System.  Due to Holidays and winter break, GIMS may not be updated until after the first of the year.  Please try to refrain from contacting the department in regards to your status in GIMS until the second week in January.

We would like to remind you that our deadline is April 1st, so there will be plenty of time for you to submit any additional required materials.

Your application to our program is valued, and we are trying to work quickly to process the materials and notify you of the admission status as soon as possible.  We apologize for the delay and thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.”

以上~~~然后就再没有声音啦~~我是2月底突然想起他们家一直没有音讯，所以就去瞄了一下GIMS，突然发现我的状态已经改成了“A DECISION HAS BEEN MADE"，然后上面显示我的状态是在2月15号更新的。一个月以后收到的平信。没有说什么时候截止回复，只是说admission会一直有效，直到我考过了他们家的英语考试。。。。

我报的是广告专业，可能不同的专业之间时间不同？静候之吧！
