Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is better to make friends withintelligent people than with people who have a good sense of humor.



Perhaps no issue is as significant to us as making friends. Friends seem to become indispensable part of our life. Despite various options people may have on the issue regarding what kind of friend is better. There is no doubt that people who have a good sense of humor are better. However, some people argue that it is better to make friendship with intelligent people. I, given the chance, prefer to endorse that making humorous friends is better. With humorous friends we can enjoy more and relax, furthermore they encourage us in several aspects to some extent.
First of all, people with a good sense of humor will encourage us in work and life. For example, a team involves several people, working together. Inevitably, they may face some ups and downs in their work. At that time, humorous friends will give these team workers fun and energy just by telling jokes and behaving in a funny manner. In addition, in our daily life, we will face trivial things and we always discuss with them. Imagine that your friends are humorous, not only can they comfort us warmly, but also bring us happiness and relax us.
In addition, a friend with a sense of humor is easier to get along with. In today’s fast-paced life, one hardly gets time to communicate with his/her near and dear ones. However, if we stay with a humorous friend, we can always be in a cheerful mood. Needless to say, they will bring us good emotions, which are good for our health.
Admittedly, making friends with intelligent people is of great advantage. They give us great advice and efficient methods which will help us progress quickly in life. However, it does not mean that humorous people take the second place.
In a nutshell, making friends with humorous people is a better option. Not only can they encourage us but also relax us and give us good emotions.
