天天打卡，认真准备二战

去年托福一战，108.

之所以二战，是因为姓名信息错误。。。。。。ETS规定是考试以后更改信息只对以后的考试有用，所以白辛苦啊。

当时相当不淡定，给普林斯顿总部打电话，跟家人朋友倾诉，郁闷得想死。

过去这么久，已然平静了，竟觉得这一切与我并没有什么关系，开口讲述的，似乎是别人的故事。

现在几乎每天呆在实验室，复习的时间也不多，4.22二战，有些孤独忐忑。

当时唯一的遗憾是作文太低了，只有25，希望这次能够有所突破。

考完托福后本以为彻底告别寄托了，不想还是回来了，想起当时热血奋战GRE,IBT的日子，特别温暖

今天完成了TP08的一半阅读，一般听力，口语和作文，毕竟是周末嘛，觉得心情比较放松，感觉不错。
托福的阅读主要还是回到原文找细节，所以先看题目再看文章是王道。
最开始我基本上是看题，搜相应部分，做题这样下去的。但是后来发现这样忽视文章的完整性终究是不对的，而且到了最后一题就会特别吃力。所以后来就看到相应的段落，索性看完。
晚上练习瑜伽，和朋友散步，空气里满是春天的气息，真是美好~

TPO8 TASK 1 关于Chevalier的传记的问题
According to the lecture, no memoir can be absolutely accurate in all details. Chevalier de Seingalt's memoir is relatively accurate and has a lot of reliable sources.

Firstly, we can't conclude Chevalier is poor from the mere fact that he squandered money on entertainment and he borrowed a lot from a Swiss merchant. He is a wealthy man with a lot of properties. It will take some time to sell his properties and convert them into money. During this period of time, he may need to borrow some from others. After he got the money, he would pay the merchant back. So this doesn't suggest he is a poor man.

Secondly, there’s certain way to keep memories of the conversation alive. Chevalier kept diaries every time right after his conversation with Voltaire. As long as he checked those notes and journals when he wrote this memoir, there is a high possibility that he can be able to capture the conversations accurately.

Thirdly, his escape is supported by the fact that many people in Venice prison had more powerful firends than Chevalier did. If Chevalier could come out using bribery, why can’t others get out the same way. Besides, government documents suggest that after Chevalier came out, the prison took some time to repair the ceiling of Chevalier's cell. This piece of evidence strongly infers Chevalier escaped from the prison just as he described.

TPO8 TASK2 应不应该禁止针对小孩子的电视广告
Advertising can have negative effects on young children indeed. The colorful food and cute dolls inTV ads make kids consider fast food as some yummy and healthy diet. According to some interview, children suffer 30% more obesity today from the intake of junk food. Many parents even complain that the advertisement on TV is so targeted at children that few of those little creature could resist to "come to XX and be an adorable kid ".

But is this convincing enough to ban a certain kind of TV ads? After all, it is the parents' duty to help their children tell right from wrong. Because of the repeatedly played ads on TV, I used to think the fast food restraunts serve the best food when I was a kid. But I didn't end up fat or weak. When I begged my mom to take me to the McDonlad, mom would show me what the human body need to function well and compare the list with food  McDonlad provide.  The comparison stopped me from even thinking about having a dinner there. If the kids are properly educated, they are not so easily influenced by TV ads.

Besides, TV ads can benefit children in many ways. To them, it is a way to gain product information just like to adults. In order to make a choice, they need to analyze what they know, compare different features and decide which to choose. This process can be considered as a practice in their future lives. Some comertials specially towards kids are very creative. Watching TV ads of this kind expand children’s imagination to realize the full possibilities of the world. Sometimes, TV ads can become a popular topic among young children. It adds to something they talk about with each other.

其实一直很疑惑，托福作文可以这样用生活中的例子吗？感觉还是用GRE那样的例子得分高啊。我去年就用了自己的例子，25，但是一个朋友，GRE作文和我一样4分，直接用了G里面的例子，28.觉得ETS的审美还是挺一致的。求高人解答。
