As ancient people rely on indoor fire places more than we do, they consequently tend to own exclusive family fireplaces. The idea of the Chaco structures being ceremonial centers, which is proposed in the reading, does not gain the lecturer's approvement either.The presence of numerous broken pots is not so strong to support this idea.The professor demonstrated that, after taking other findings like building materials(sand, stone) and construction tools into consideration, the broken pots may just the trashes of the construction workers, who left their food container after having meals.
Under such strong refutation made by the professor, it is reasonable to define the current theories unproper ones.Hence, further study is needed to determine the real function of the Chaco buildings.

Communal online encyclopedias is a kind of new fashion in the field of encyclopedias, which come into being as the wide spread of internet using. Though some critics point out some weakness of it , the professor strongly holds the opinion that its advantages prevail.
First of all, the accuracy of online encyclopedias cannot be blamed since traditional ones also have this kind of flaws. Errors in printed encyclopedias remained their presence for centuries while errors in online encyclopedias are soon corrected by informed users. No ignorance should be paid to this great advantage of communal encyclopedia--its instant revisibility.
Secondly, the scientifical mistakes made by unscrupulous users, emphasized in the reading passage, is preventable. The official workers protect the online information in two pratical ways. They put the crutial fact of each item into a unchangeable format and eliminate potentially wrong infomation instantly.Under these security protection, the attempts to endanger the original infomation is somehow impossible.
Finally, the assertion of online encyclopedias' improper focus to popular topics is not so convincing. The professor believes that it is the restriction of book's size forced the experts to eliminate some infomation. Hence, the seeming focus appeared in printed encyclopedias is just out of unwillingness. Instead of being criticized disproportionated, the diversity and variety of topics which communal encyclopedias reached should be considered as another significant advantage of it. The wide ranges of knowledge provide from online encyclopedias enabled people to broaden their view and keep themselves well informed.
