题目：In some circumstances, patience is not a good thing and instead we should take action at once.
提纲：举出了三种耐心忍让并不是好事的情景
1、在商业投资上，等待和耐心会使得错失商机
2、在一段友情中，不能一味的容忍朋友的缺点和过错
3、在外交上，面对频繁的入侵不能忍让
Patience, as a traditional virtue of the Chinese nation, is always considered worth learning especially for the youth. In many aspects this opinion is correct indeed, for patience is the embodiment of a person's manners and moral culture. A patient person is usually liked by most people. There exist, however, some situations that patience is not a good thing and may even bring some detriment.

In the business world, the time of investment is often very crucial and sometimes you just do not have enough time to think twice before taking action. Under this condition, being patient and waiting for a perfect opportunity can cause great loss on profits. For instance, when instant noodles were first invented, the investment met much trouble in that many investors would not invest their money to help build a company, waiting to see whether this kind of food could sell well. There were a few investors that didn’t wait and they gained plenty margins in this process. This story tells us that when it comes to investment, patience is not usually a good thing; instead taking action in time should be considered.

Besides, sometimes in a friendship, it is not always proper to be patient and tolerant to your friends. When your friends always make some irrational requirements and are much too dependent on you, your life is likely to be affected. Isn't it a kind of disturbance to your life to continue enduring their faults? Furthermore, always being patient cannot help your friends improve themselves and makes no contribute to solving the problem. I am convinced that at this time if you can talk to them in a proper way about this problem, the situation will become much better and your friendship can be improved.

Same things may happen when mentioning the issue of political decisions. In late Qing Dynasty, the authorities just endured the invasion of England and tried to appease the British by ceding territory. Nonetheless, this forbearing behavior did not lead to peace but further invasion and humiliating treaties. We can clearly figure out that it is really not necessary to be patient to those invaders after their frequent acts of aggression, since patience and hesitation would just generate increased harm to our nation.
In a nutshell, in most circumstances patience is really a virtue that we ought to keep. Having a patient friend will for sure benefit us a lot and being patient helps make a more adorable person. However, there remain some situations where we should not be patient anymore and should take effective measures.  
我写的题目和寄托的给出的稍有不同……见谅……个人感觉第四段举的例子不是特别好……但是又想不出什么有说服力的……弱爆了

Some people think university professors should spend more time doing research while others think they should spend more time educating students. What is your view?

思路：应该花更多的时间在教学生上
       1、学生是教育的主体，可以提高学生的水平，有助于未来发展
      2、可以提升大学的质量，间接促进教授科研
       3、让步一段，虽然科研很重要，但是作为老师，更多时间应该花在学生身上

正文：
Professors, as an essential element in the structure of a university, are very important not only from the aspect of students' progress, but also from that of a university’s development. Considering professors' great role played in the education system, some people hold that they should spend more time to educate students rather than to do research. Personally, I basically agree with this statement given the reasons below.


The main body of education system is always students; in other words, it is their improvement and future that we care about most. Professors as educators are responsible for students who are eager to acquire necessary knowledge. Do they have office hours to answer questions for students? Are they always conscientious about execute homework and never skip classes? I believe it is professors’ duty to things above, thus professors equip students with more specific skills and broaden their horizons, which may eventually benefit students in their future careers. And if professors don’t spend more time on educating students, they will be ignored to some extend and it will be detrimental to their higher education.


Besides, by spending more time to instruct students, professors make it possible for the university to improve its quality of teaching as well as academic level. With the improvement of students' specialized skills in a university, I am convinced that this university’s enrollment will greatly increase, which will greatly enhance the whole construction of the university. Furthermore, education also includes training in experiments and research methods. Students today not only learn basic knowledge of certain disciplines, but also help do some researches with their mentors in the laboratories. Once professors spend more time to educate them, they together with professors, motivated by the power of creation, are able to achieve greater progress in certain projects and researches. This pattern will in the end become a positive cycle for both professors and students.


Admittedly, it is definitely very important for professors to spend enough time to do research for the reason that they also face pressure from their colleagues and the corresponding industry. Very understandable is that they would like to seek success in their fields with well-established theory. Doing research has already occupied a large amount of their time, which still probably leaves no time for excellent papers, let alone students’ education. Nevertheless, we can't conclude that they should spend more time on researches in that it is long-term profits that we should consider comprehensively. Spending more time on directing students is not only professors’ duty as being educators but also a method to improve them.


To sum up, taking into account the aspects above, I strongly recommend that university professors should spend more time educating students rather than doing research, which is more conductive in many facets.

是的，除了商业和战争方面，分秒必争的事情比较要紧，其他的就很少了
