请教：刚刚得到教授回复，香港理工

感谢进来的各位前辈，
首先我发给教授的邮件的主题是问他招不招Mphil，
接着他给我的回信这样写到：“I currently teach law in the School of Accounting and Finance (PolyU / HK) and here we do not have Mphil degrees in law.   The only situation I see feasible is for you to consider registering for an Mphil course in a law school of your choice, and I could perhaps act as a second supervisor (normally Mphil students have two supervisors).

Are you planning to register to Mphil studies?  Are you planning to do so in HK or Mainland China?”

然后我从他的邮件中得出——
第一，他让我申请一个法学院的Mphil，他做我的第二导师——但是理工没有法学院哎。
第二，他说他可做我的第二导师——这是不是说明他不能招研究生啊（他是助理教授）

1.那教授的意思是让我申其他学校法学院的Mphil，然后他做我的第二导师？
2.他最后有问我是不是申Mphil，这和他能招PHD有关撒？
