Bobby Hatfield, one half of the famed musical duo, the Righteous Brothers, had died at the age of 63.
The group's manager says Hatfield was found dead in his hotel room in Kalamazoo, Michigan Wednesday evening, shortly before he and his longtime singing partner Bill Medley were scheduled to perform at a local university.

Hatfield began performing with Medley in 1962, creating a singing style which was to become known as blue eyed soul.

In 1964, the duo recorded their biggest hit You've lost that lovin' Feelin. Other hits from the 1960's include Soul and Inspiration and Unchained Melody. They later recorded another hit in 1974 with Rock and Roll Heaven.

The Righteous Brothers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year.

主唱经典金曲《无尽的旋律》(《Unchained Melody》)的二人组合正真兄弟(Righteous Brothers)成员鲍比-哈特菲尔(Bobby Hatfield)前晚约七时被发现倒毙在密歇根州的Radisson Plaza酒店房内，享年六十三岁，死因须待验尸后确定。

拍档情绪崩溃

Bobby原定与另一成员Bill Medley在当晚七时半举行演唱会，事前他留在酒店房间休息，但酒店员工致电唤醒他时却未获回应，其后工作人员进入其房间才发现他已去世。负责人在演唱开始前二十五分钟宣布取消演唱会，而痛失拍档的Bill据知现时情绪几近崩溃。

Righteous Brothers六三年推出首张大碟，翌年以《You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling》红遍乐坛，此曲更成为电台史上播放次数最多的歌曲，之后一曲《Unchained Melody》再把二人的事业推上高峰，这首金曲九○年被电影《人鬼情未了》选为主题曲，唱至街知巷闻，并为二人带来格莱美奖提名。（新浪娱乐）
