这句话的意思是F.J.Turner的观点 obscured the changes of trade.

后面的文章都在 support 作者观点，反对F.J.Turner观点

第八题 A, certain interpretation就是指作者的观点,alternative explanation是F.J.Turner观点。 正确选项

B.formerly had been unavailable.文章找不到支持得论证

C.questioning the accuracy of the evidence无稽之谈，文章没有question evidence

D.错在formerly been thought这里没有原文证明

E.错的离谱 首先 这个是不是controversial不得而知，其次作者也没support F.J.Turner的观点

终于了解这篇的架构了，原本以为因为文章是改写的所以看不懂，结果是自己的问题．
