TPO20:题目For success in a future job, the ability to relate well to people is more important than studying hard in school.
Nowadays, to succeed in one’s career, an exceptional transcript seems no longer to be the only reference. A variety of personalities are required, including the ability to relate to other people. Many people begin to consider the interpersonal skill as the dominant factor in being successful. However, as far as I am concerned, it is totally putting the cart before the horse and I do not agree with that.
Admittedly, “Knowledge is power”, said by Maozedong, the first leader of Chinese Communist Party. Without plentiful knowledge as foundation, one would never have the capability to succeed. On the other hand, if one interacts well with others but without excellent ability himself, he may make good friends with those people but cannot get assistance from them to improve his own career. That is because he is unable to in turn repay their help by his talent. Therefore, acquiring knowledge in school allows people to enhance their skill, which is the dependence to earn money when entering the labor market.
In addition, if one had been diligent in school, he would have developed a natural habit of studying which is essential for almost all the successful people. Studying hard demonstrates self-control and hard-working, which are valuable qualities of successful people. As an old saying goes: “The learning process is endless”. The continuity in learning new stuffs keeps one up to date and makes him more likely to succeed. Li jiacheng, as the richest person in China, still insists to learn for at least one hour a day. When asked the reason why he keeps doing that now that he owns the asset of over 10 billion dollars, Li claimed that it was a consistent habit that he developed when he was just a shopkeeper in his early age. In this example, we can see how important learning is in deciding whether one can carve out successful career.
Furthermore, it is hard-working that stimulates the expansion of the interpersonal circle. Relating to people concerns the interpersonal relations, but without outstanding ability, one would not get in touch with those people who give you a hand in career. However, excellence enables one to do that. One of the reasons why people spare no effort to enter peak universities is their significant social network. Being excellent allows one to meet successful people and learn from their valuable experience as well as get assistance when needed. Studying hard makes one possible to relate to outstanding people and more likely to acquire success.
Although it seems that relating to people is critical skill for people in society, based on the discussed reasons above, it is obvious that being a good learner is the basis of success and is more important than the socializing skill.
只求稍微给点意见就行了,说下写作什么水平,马上就要考试了,不厌其烦的大神谢谢了 |
