Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People should buy things made by their own country, even if they are more expensive than things made in other countries.

With the deep development of the economic reform, getting commodities which is manufactured by other countries is becoming easier and easier. So, nowadays, there is general debate over whether or not people should buy things made by their own people instead of that made in other countries. Some people refute this statement while others maintain that purchasing goods coming from their own companies is worth supporting. Personally speaking, I prefer buying goods made by my own country.

First of all, buying merchandise produced in one's own country could promote the development of the economy. Since the personal consumption, like digital products, cosmetics and these necessaries of life, is playing an essential role in the gross domestic product, then, through purchasing thing made buy their motherland, everyone will contribute to bringing economic benefits for their country. As a result, based on potent backup of economy, the government could increase the financial budget on the construction of people's living conditions, such as building more playgrounds, improving the medical insurance or constructing more schools. Suppose people just paid a little proportion of their consumption on these commodities produced in their own country, the government would have to decrease the budget and even tighten their belts, because losing the support of people's consumption would be equal to losing the financial source. Indeed, the government will be able to acquire the increase of economy by the philosophy of the citizens.

Moreover, purchasing commodities made by one's own country is more convenient. Because these products which people would like to possess are all manufactured by these companies located in the same country with then, then the after-sale service, such as repair in the warranted period, will be got much faster. Therefore, the consumers are able to effectively solve the issues about changing or repairing in the wake of buying the products. For example, when I was in college, one of my roommates bought a computer which is made in Singapore. About half a year, he found that the main broad of his computer didn't work well and he wanted to solve the problems, so he consulted with the supporting department located in Chinese mainland. Then he was told that he had to send the computer to the site where it was produced. Consequently, he gave up the idea due to the inconvenience brought by the international expression.

Admittedly, keeping buying things made in one's own country might bring some insignificant issues. For example, due to the increasing requirements of the citizens, these factories have to elevate their output, and then a serious of issues will come, such as environmental contamination and the depletion of those unrenewable resources. However, if viewed from a different perspective, these issues of environmental protection could render the government, as the role of supervisors, able to raise these factories' awareness of sustainable development. What is more, as long as the authorities and companies could be aware of the mutual effect of benefits and environment and strike a balance between the throughput and environmental protection, there is no need to worry about it anymore.

All in all, the existence of some little issues can not be denied, but the merits of purchasing commodities produced in one's own country are so obvious that people can not decline them.
