People are told to be an honest person when they are young; and honesty has been treasured as one of the virtues human beings value most. However, I agree with the assertion in the above topic that political leader cannot tell the truth under all circumstances and complete honesty declines the effectiveness of the leader rather than the promotion.

First of all, complete honesty if a political leader holds, can easily be the weak point in which the opponents and enemies will strive to dig secret information. Admittedly, honesty is one of the basic ethics of mankind. Nevertheless, conclusion cannot be difficult to draw that most of people have the experience of telling lies-some of them later proved to be out of kindness, white lies, in other words. To a political leader, every day he may face the reporters and journalist raising cunning questions which may artfully contain some national classified information from security, business, scientific agencies. The opponents and enemies of the nation are waiting for the fact between the lines of the words from the leaders. In such situation, the truth may cause destruction or even tragedy to the country; the complete honesty of the political leaders becomes nothing but the assistant of the enemy.

Therefore, lies under such circumstances may save the political leader from the embarrassing dilemma between refusing the question and telling the truth. The refuse of the question from the reporter is regarded as the ill-behavior of the political leader and the rudeness of a nation; telling the truth is the irresponsible for the government and people of the nation. Little white lies dispense with either of such situation. Take a following story as an instance. Once a political leader from a new-born nation in Asia made his visitation to another country, he was questioned by a lady reporter from an unfriendly nation that how much money his group brought. To tell the truth and to refuse to reply both will influence badly on the image of this new country. At last the leader smiled and said:" the quantity is as large as your age." Everyone present had the idea that the leader was telling a lie. Yet the humorous answer embarrassed the reporter much since it is also impolite to ask the age of a lady. The white lie preserves the secret of the nation as well as solves the problem the political met.

Nevertheless to say, lies cannot be treated as the catholicon in the political field and abused all the time. Overdue lies mean nothing about effectiveness of a political leader but the excuse of some inner malversation of the government. A successful political leader has the awareness to distinct the different situations in some of which he has to tell lies while other of which he cannot. When telling lies becomes a habit, the leader may tend to lie to all the others including the party, the government, and the people of the country all the time. The effectiveness of the governmental work cannot be increased but declined therefore, since the controversy between truth and lie cannot exist forever yet the truth will certainly emerge to the surface some day.

In conclusion, lies are a sword with two sharp sides. A wise, successful, effective political leader can treat them as useful assistances; a stupid, failed, inefficient leader may waste them or abuse them as the authority in the hands of a fatuous king. Political leader should think over the situation carefully to conclude that whether he should tell the truth or say a cunning white lie.

第2段开头还是尽量不要用FIRST OF ALL把?中国人都用这...没什么新异的,可以换换别的词.

第3段开头的THEREFORE用法好怪,一般没有一段的开头就用"所以"的把? 如果是这样的话,那岂不是可以和第2段合并了?是顺成的意思?这个词完全可以省略.

还不错，但是个别用词不准确，我没还没看到政治类的题目，但是对于这个题目我还想到一点：虽然政客可以在关键的事情或者说是危机的时候tell lies,但是还是应该鼓励说真相的，因为可以提高行政的透明度，利用舆论监督提高行政效率，我想对于我们的政府来说不是隐瞒得不够而是披露的太少。一点建议，一起努力吧。

从昨天晚上到现在机器一直crash，不得已今天下午挤了小公共去市里去修，结果是内存条烧了。不爽不爽。现在终于一切OK。开始改猫儿的文章。看了以后感觉思路和层次比前两片文章清晰多了。显然已经有了组织文章的意识。质的飞跃，大家咶叽呱叽！

果然政治类文章是最难写的，因为中国人的政治思维和西方的政治思维是完全两个世界。猫的文章最大的问题，就是里面讨论的是中国特色的政治，而不是西方政治。虽然其他类型的文章我们写中国绝对可以（个人认为也不应该鼓励），但政治绝对不行，除非你是站在西方思想的角度看中国问题。否则后果是评卷者几乎一点也没办法理解（据说从阅读中可以看出ETS是彻头彻尾的反达尔文反马克思的顽固右派势力！悲乎！中国的左派奋青）。比如第一个body，且不论词法和句法，在外国人眼里，从思维角度上就差不多是茫然。这不怪猫儿
但第一个body的许多用词不准确和不地道的地方，这显然不是猫的水平。我认为这一段是失败的

第二个body比第一个要好很多。至少从遣词造句上明显的看得出来。例子“做”的也很好。

malversation比corroption更酷一些？看不出来。我担心的是一个word 2003的词库里面都没有的词，ETS看卷子的zhuzhu会认识么？

我觉得用词和造句的问题 应该是时间 限时间的时候 我根本不能仔细想到底应该如何 只能狂写 赶快写
至于观点 我也很彷徨 觉得我这文章给美国人一看就是社会主义国家的小孩写的 虽然我也不是什么上进的社会主义好青年 看来我要去补补课~~~

至于逻辑 这我想是我这一段训练的重点~~~
