请问是统计的好就业还是应用数学的好就业啊？

本人211一数学硕士以及基础数学的博士，博士水平较差，不喜欢做科研的。想再去美国读硕士，想转到应用性较强的方向，建议是申请应用数学的博士。个人倾向于统计的硕士。请问大家，
1 是统计的硕士找工作容易还是应用数学的硕士找工作容易。
2 其次如果申请应用数学的博士，中间读不下去或者不想读了，可不可以以硕士毕业出来找工作啊？

1. Statistics is easier to get a job.
2. Since you are now in a Math PhD program, many programs would be unwilling to admit you.
    ----Even you are admitted by some Math PhD program in the US and graduate (which is stronger than a MS en route), it is hard for you to find a job in industry.

在五年的时间成本面前，对根本不想学术的人来说，任何专业PhD都是火坑无疑。
