关于综合写作需不要虚analysis

如题。最近外教帮我改作文，他有一个建议我很困惑。
You also need to develop good short remarks at the end of each paragraph to give verdict of the views that have been discussed. Without such remarks then we can never know what your stand is and thus it ceases to be an analysis. You also need to short conclusion at the end to give your opinion about the arguments. This is important because it shows your good interpretation of the arguments. Many writers forget this, but to show good understanding and interpretation, good analysis, a conclusion is necessary.
所以他在每一段后面都给我加了In this case, the reading requires more evidence of the absence of squids at that time and the possibility of the sound being emitted by squids.诸如此类。
我真的很困惑，要写么？
或者说，写了扣分么？（因为我也尝试写了，怕最后会被扣分）
求大神女神们解答，我尝试找ets问了，但是没找到邮箱，因为toefl的页面也太难打开了！！！！
