According to the argument, it fails to prove that Buckingham College needs more houses to accommodate new students. Firstly, it assumes that the enrollment would increase at the same pace in the next 50 years, which is unwarranted. Furthermore, the assumption that the average rent for an apartment in this town will rise in the future according to the increasing rent in the past few years.
