lse 2 years里有不少课修的还不如楼主的。

如果最后的目标是top phd的话，楼主应该把功夫花在跟AER board of editor做research上。如果这封推荐没什么问题，楼主不应该把目标放在50左右，应该往前申。

修课倒是其次，top10里第一年没学过grad level math的有的是。即使你把所有课修到满分，也不如一个大牛说你有 research potential 管用，申请pool里满分的4.0 gpa的实在太多了,admission committee基本不看.

学长是lse的么？我的目标是top phd呀，但其实我不是特别想去master的项目，因为就算是duke这样级别的去到top的也好少啊。。而且如果读master的话，22+2+5，毕业都快30岁了。。可是不读master，我申top更没希望啊。。难道出身不好就没有办法读好学校了吗ToT

She can "beg" her recommender to help her since her recommender really like her, for example, her recommender is most likely willing to make a phone call to some of the top programs to sell her............... Professors at this level (like that Repec 5% guy) usually have personal connections with several ad com members in top programs, or at least professors who have great influence on recruiting Phd students......

why not apply CEMFI and SSE? They are better in placing students to top programs than all of the master programs you listed here

The most important thing in her profile is THE RECOMMENDER !!! In master application, it may not help, but in Phd application, that dominates everything!!!

我在考虑cemfi和pse呢，只是我觉得可能欧洲的master还是对欧洲的phd更管用一点。。而且。。。我还是想去大u啊。。要有dance dept.的那种。。
