那倒没听说但就业是。。。  问了港大毕业多年的师兄 认为cityu不差的，只是没那么港中科出名。我工作时间比较长了也不打算去投行 所以不要紧

咨询了投资圈的人 南洋理工创业创新在圈内是有些名气的 但确实更适合打算创业的人。

咨询了一些外资银行圈的普遍认为，MBA要么就是常青藤的，其他出来的只要别太差的学校其实差不太多，认可度有但更看个人。要想去投行的香港科大应该会有些优势。

忘记给您讲我的purpose了 八年工作经验有点想往投资或者商行sales的方向转，但看缘分因为不愿降薪降职级，转不到就安心留在现在的领域里。坚决不想去投行因为在投行做过受不了里面的文化。我再如果今年不接受再等一年女孩子三十几岁已有十年工作经验可能更没机会转业务部门，即便我是港中科的。。。 如果不转的话留在HR领域，城大应该足够了。

oops.....age limit is.....yup, worth to consider also.

but i will still suggest to try them, this year 2015, as the last deadline has still not yet arrived.
of course.........well, deposit is an issue.

Questions wanna ask/know too:
1. 如果不转的话留在HR领域，城大应该足够了, this is of course......but then is a MBA useful/valued then?
2. for the top MBA, which charge really high tuition, the graduate generally hopes to leverage the degree to consulting and ibank, with the name of the school and previous working experience. how's the case for a 2nd/3rd tier one than? how's the difference when compared to a MSc in a related field (e.g. MSc marketing for mkt ppl, Finance for banking and etc.)?

鉴于我本科的专业是Chinese literature, 在银行圈读个商科多少对今后有些帮助，而且我确实想要些systematic knowledge 并考虑想回香港（在港工作过一段时间）。。。 现在也申了中文，月底GMAT考完会再看有无机会申请其他。谢谢你咯

我确实也考虑尝试consulting, 对于麦肯锡一类的自认智力不够，对于去big4城大MBA够用了。。。在香港我不确定，在国内还是MBA要好过marketing之流。城大给我奖学金（除了没GMAT,我的工作背景不差）所以费用不很贵了。。。  当然有今年机会还是要尝试top3。。。天天在复习GMAT呢。。。

the question I am thinking about is........do we need a MBA for big 4, or there're cheaper / easier way (but less general solution)

to me, MBA sounds a really general solution (as it suit many sector in business), and if one have a really specified career goal, it may be possible to find another better/cheaper route towards it.

not quite sure you are doing part-time / full-time, but if it is full-time......tuition only counts one of the major part of the cost, and the opportunity cost counts another part too.

Understood and cannt agree more if back to four or five years ago. But for a lady at thirties, I am looking for a balance between work and life,value and  personnal interest, i believe the meaning of study MBA is to have a different exposure or equip myself with financial and Management input which I didn't well prepared before, also to have a break and reinvent myself. However,with all the network accumulated and good track record established, I won't see a big risk in finding a job with not bad pay, unless I change my filed throughly. ibank and consulting firm could be dreaming places for many ppl, but not for me at this point. 另外投行和咨询都是体力活，我的身体素质也应该顶不住的

之前有商行的业务线的人问我愿不愿意转business, 听说我本科的专业是中国语言文学就只好hehe了。。。 客观讲商行的性价比最优，投资最讲混圈子，做HR head要有strategic view, 但无论如何，我先需要的是一个商科degree。城大MBA二十多万 还能有奖学金 真心不贵

弱弱地问一句毕业证怎么了。。发的title是南洋理工，还是南洋科技创业中心啊
