本科港本土木工程，当时选专业时阴差阳错选了土木工程，
自己喜欢quantitive的东西，
现在大三，正在准备托福和gre。
学过3门数学课，1门经济，3门编程，成绩都还不错。
请问大家有没有什么建议呢？转成功的概率大吗？还有没有其他转的专业推荐呢？

Thank you so much for replying! I really appreciate your advice. But finding an internship seems a bit late for me now. I have already got an internship in engineering firm this summer. I know it's really a disadvantage for me. For this kind of transfer, should I target a lower-level school (I mean compared to the level if I would apply for engineering graduate school) or I am likely to be admitted by the same level schools? Thank you so much!

Well, you can still try some top schools to diversify your applications, but rule out those schools with a high preference towards WE/Internships. Some programs will indicate it on the FAQ page or you can simply try to email the committee to figure it out.

Also, during your engineering internship, try to get more chances to play with data so that at least you can talk about how you process data using some softwares during the interviews if you could get one.

anothre method to see how much the admission committe weight on is to kind of "smell" that through the website, program structure, and most importantly the background of the previous cohort......
