INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ANALYST

Our IT Expense Analyst is responsible for analyzing IT and telecommunication expenditures to develop, implement, and then verify savings compliance with vendor contracts.
The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical/analytical skills, advanced skills in Excel, and an interest in Information Technology or Management Consulting.
Core Responsibilities:
•        Develop creative solutions for clients focused on saving money in IT expenses.
•        Data analysis to understand what IT products and services a client uses today.
•        Interest and curiosity to identify ways of continual improvement.

Additional Responsibilities:
•        Data analysis to understand client trends and usage/purchasing patterns.
•        Reviews terms and conditions in vendor contracts to understand impact for client.
•        Assists in analysis of client costs/expenses.
•        Interacts closely with vendors, internal client-facing teams.
•        Provides presentation materials to client-facing consultants.
•        Participates in audit initiatives as required.
•        Performs project and non-project related tasks and activities to support the department’s goals and objectives.

Experience Required:
•        Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics or equivalent work related experience.
•        1 to 2 years of office experience.
•        Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
•        Proven proficiency with numbers, experience in analyzing large amounts of data, and an ability to consolidate and translate that data into actionable insight.
•        Excellent problem-solving skills with a proven track record of working independently, as well as within a team environment.
•        Ability to overcome obstacles and prioritize/manage workload.
•        Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
•        Ability to work long hours as needed for client projects.
•        Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to create and maintain effective relationships with vendors.
