After you have reviewed these sites, we welcome any specific questions you may have.  Please email me directly at erggrad@berkeley.edu with your questions about the admissions process or the ERG program.

All applicants for admission to the Energy and Resources Graduate Group must apply through the online system located at http://grad.berkeley.edu/admissions/apply/. The application period opens in the first week of September and closes the first week of December. You do not need, and are not encouraged, to seek the endorsement or support of any particular faculty member before admission.  Members of the ERG faculty and staff are not in a position to review CVs, transcripts or other supporting documents or advise on your suitability for admission.

这个学校和学校不一样，越好的学校，申请人数多，所以都是系里面先录取，有录取委员会，然后再分配导师。除非你和导师认识，或者别人介绍过，否则陶瓷意义不大。

但是如果学校一般的话，陶瓷很有帮助
