either那句话开始的意思是，那些读者的ethic被compromised，要不然就是作者有预谋，所以前面想表达的意思明显他成功了。逗号前面那句话表达的意思是即便是他最忠实的支持者也不会认为这本书很好。

阅读题从 to Ralph Waldo Emerson那句话开始一直在讲他是怎么理解的。首先D是错误的，因为which后面讲出了 他miss了这个point. fossil poetry怎么理解，我觉得这个词就是double meaning。就是后面的两个extreme
1) as far removed from everyday as it can be
2) resemble prose

所以可以简单理解 Ralph Waldo Emerson的这个double meaning的意思就是上面所指 “ removed from the language of everyday” 和 “closely in touch with everyday”

也就是说我们的语言曾经都是诗篇，之所以现在被我们接受和使用就是因为它们用符号精准地阐释了这个世界。
