很感谢一直关心我的朋友们，我预约的是今天早上9点,我7点就到了梅隆镇广场排队.8点左
右,会有保安过来放人,会说几点的进去,几点的在后面排队,大家不要管他说,进去了以后根
本不会查你的时间.所以只要跟着进去就好.今天探亲的,商务的比较多,F1甚少。Glassboy
果然比较勤勉，第一个拉开百叶窗， 第一个在他窗口签的人3分钟之内搞掂。然后好像就
开始签探亲的，一群老头老太纷纷顺利签过。大概过了半小时，jfmm, yymm出现。今天有
两个jfmm, 没有看到black mm. 在我签证之前，有一个化学的F1在jfmm窗前耗了20多分钟
，最终被check.后来在我前面又有一个人耗了好久，也不知道签过没有。过了一会，终于
显示出我的号码，心想这把惨了，只有硬着头皮上了。
下面签经奉上：
Me: Good morning, madam.
Jfmm: Good morning. %%%%%(不知道呜噜呜噜了什么)
Me: (不理她, 递入 admission letter) here are my admission letters.
Jfmm: Why do you want to study for PHD?
Me: I want to start my career at a high level.
Jfmm: Why do you want to study in America while not the other countries, such
as Australia? Canada?
Me: It is known that the Graduate education in America is the best in the worl
d and they have the most active research environment.
Jfmm: What are you going to study?
Me: Applied Mathematics.
Jfmm: Why do you want to study mathematics?
Me: I’m very interested in it. And I have some gift for it.
Jfmm: Oh, I don’t have gift for it. I’m not good at it.
Me: Hehe, everyone have their own talent.
Jfmm: What is your major?
Me: Dynamic Systems.
Jfmm: oh, I know that. What about your plan after your graduation?
Me: I plan to work in the CAS (Chinese Academy of Sciencer). I’m fascinated i
n mathematics and I want to dedicate all my life to research work.
Jfmm: Then who will be your advisor?
Me: 拿出打印好的教授网页,递入, I will work with Dr. ****, he is the expert in
this field.
Jfmm: Then what do you think about 95% students who come to China never come b
ack? Then why you will come back?
Me: Well, my situation is quite different.
Jfmm: what difference?
Me: I’m the only child of my parents.
Jfmm: They are also the only childs.
Me: Well, the returnees are becoming more and more these years.
Jfmm: 失望的看着我
Me: Oh, I got some figures, (翻我的文件夹) will you have a look?
Jfmm: 眼睛里闪光 ok, let me see.
Me: This is typed from the homepage of CAS. It’s a statistic figure about ret
urnees. The number in 2003 is increased by 47% than that in 2002.
Jfmm: 开始点头,大笑%%%%%%why do you think you will not be attracted by the lif
e in America, its very 舒服, 轻松?
Me: Oh, I’m going to be a TA at osu. The study would be very tough and time w
ould become so tight. I think I will not have so much time to go here and go t
here. I will only concentrate on my study and research work.
Jfmm: hehe, you will have time to go about.
Me: Really? That will be good.
Jfmm: ok, 推出我的材料 don’t forget to take them. 给我一本书, as you will go
to study in America, I think this book will help you. Take it and please go to
window 11 to wait for your visa.
Me: Ok, thank you. Have a nice day. 闪人

整个过程我们都一直是笑嘻嘻的。我也觉得很奇怪，我是在读研究生，她却一个问题都没
有问。不知道是不是因为我在研究生入学的学校名称后面加了一个 research assistant.
我带过去的一堆资料都没有看。而在我前面的被check 的化学F1几乎所有的资料都翻了一
遍。可能运气比较好吧。总之，签证形势还是比较好的。祝大家都一签成功。

要感谢GT ，在上面得到好多的信息帮助。本人5月7日过，在此说几句作为对GT的回报：
1。签证不可怕，签证官都很敬业的，尤其GLASSBOY，真的可以当选上海劳模，
一定要真实可信。不要自欺欺人。感觉签证官还是很通情达理的。
2 。照片要照好些，这是第一印象，先入为主非常重要。

感觉这位还是很有点运气,有几个问题回答的都不太好,居然还是过了,这种情况在其他地方说不定就完蛋了哦~~~所以上海的朋友,机会大好,要把握住呀~~

do not think too much about the VO, because you cannot select the one who will interview you.
think more about how to answer him/her accordingly and use your brain rather than resite the prepared answer.
the VO want to see real you from your answer.
do not treat VO as your enemy but look them as your friend who is very willing to give you visa.
