收到IC拒信想argue求建议及英国的2.1学位不是说80%以上吗？

申请并且面了帝国理工的MRes Biosystematics，教授给了口头录取三天之后系统显示unsucceessfully. 这当然要argue！发邮件一问秘书的回信是这样的：

Thank you for the email. We are sorry to have to write in disappointing terms.  The Admissions Panel were interested in your application and read it carefully and the updated transcript which you sent. The Department of Life Sciences has an academic minimum entry requirement of a UK 2.1 or equivalent. We have been advised by the Admissions Department of the Registry that 80% constitutes a 2.2 and 85% and above is the 2.1 equivalent. With regret we were not able to extend an offer to you since your average of 75% does not suggest the potential to achieve above 85% and therefore meet the minimum entry requirement. If you have evidence to suggest otherwise or how your final result will be weighted and calculated, the Admissions Panel are happy to consider this.
