站内关于ps的帖子很多了,总体来说就是在回答,why you?why this program?why this school?
Through all these academic and practical experience, I find media communication between China and the globe as the field I’m most passionate about. Then I realize I must hone my research and practice skills to administer my responsibilities with it more effectively. The perfect platform for me would be the Master of Global Communication program at Chinese University of Hong Kong, because it’s the one of the first and leading programs that focuses on China-specific phenomenon and its relation with globalization. I anticipate gaining diverse insights into the patterns and
theories of global communication through courses and seminars like Globalization and Communication, Communication in Intercultural Settings, etc. And I hope to analyze the role of media in activism of new social class such as the sexual minorities in Hong Kong and Mainland China with Prof. Jack Qiu, whose works had enlightened me to associate social status with media exposure and usage. I want to craft my practical skill like feature writing, following the experienced teachers from South China Morning Post and other prestigious global media.
