civilization has two aspects: materials and morals.....

1. disagree, true is consisted of such many aspects as arts creation, scientific accomplishment, democracy polistics, and so forth. What the speaker suggests overlooks or understates the effect of other factors.
2 it is true that artistic creations influence huamn being civilization greatly in that they can lift people's moral, humanity and spirit, make our society more harmony then ever, enlighten individuals including knaves, tynant, the poor, the wealth. Artistic creation is the result of philosophy, aesthetic research, and art. For example, Vinci , Picsso, Homer, Shakespeare Beethoven, whose masterpieces are not only excellent in technoque but also preeminent in thire ideas of philosophy.
3. Also, scientific accomplishment attribute to the true vlue of civilization. As we all know, the vlaue of true civilization should compose two aspects: the material civilization and moral civilization. In ear of rapid scientific and technological changes, progresses in science enhance the quality of our daily life, so to certain disgree, promote the civilization. Therefore, on the contrary, the value of true civilization also reflect the enhancement of science. For example, Flemming, peniccin, Newton, classical mechanics, Einstain, relativity, Galieo, gravity,Corpenicus, sun-egonism, Waton and Crick, the structure of DNA, all the accomplishments set a milestone on the way to human being's civilization.
4. In addition, science and art are interrelated in that the basis of both is philosophy. The art derives from P, and so does science.

我也觉得可以从精神物质两个层面来讲，但是不太懂5楼的第四点，science为什么也是derives from Philosophy呢？能详细谈谈么？多谢~~

不错。
artistic creations influence huamn being civilization 与scientific accomplishment attribute to the true vlue of civilization离“reflected” 好像远了点？艺术科技造就value-->艺术科技反映value???
4. In addition这段干什么用呢？？
