我怎么感觉the short story指的是前面提到的novels？ to feel unfinished是和前面定语从句的draw out 取反吧！  因为是同一对象有矛盾的嫌疑，所以加上了感觉（feel）这个词。......  当然 the short story是不是novel？我要去查wiki
